I didn't really know what to expect with the texture of this cleanser. In fact, at first I was a little disappointed. I thought I had accidentally bought Vaseline. Then when I used it, and it only required a small amount to do the job, I was overwhelmed with the results. Not only did it remove my makeup, but my face felt very clean, soft and moisturized.

Love, love, love this product! Leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and moisturized after using. I do suggest using eye makeup remover beforehand as I found it didn’t take off all my mascara (it isn’t waterproof mascara) after cleansing. I hope they bring back the larger 8.5 oz. size in the future.

Clinique makeup remover balm is perfect for removing makeup, and I really like it. I love that you can use a little bit of it, and it removes everything. If you have your face covered with makeup and need to remove it all, all you need is a little Clinique. After applying it to your face, simply remove with a cotton pad. Before this, I was using Lush’s version of this makeup remover balm, but I don’t like it as much because it leaves your face feeling greasy. You would typically need to use more of the Lush product too. Clinique’s version does not make my face feel greasy and lasts forever, so it’s perfect for travel and for use at home. I love this balm so much, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Wow! I've tried various makeup removers throughout my life, including wipes, oils, and creams. However, this balm has truly impressed me! For the first time, it was able to remove everything, including my mascara, without needing a drop of water. Plus, it's non-greasy, which is a great bonus!

This is my go to step for makeup removal. It makes the process so easy! It doesn’t really have a smell in my opinion and it gets the job done. I combine this oil based cleanser with a removal soap after rubbing it into my skin. My skin feels good during the process and it has a moisturizing agent to help it glide over my skin. I use my spatula to apply the product. I ordered the medium size portion and feel that it was a good value and adequately priced.

Comparing Clinique cleansing balm. It melts pretty evenly on the skin, lathers slightly to remove makeup when water is added to skin, rinses very well. Is even better when followed by a gentle cleaner (Derm'gist recommends Cerave face wash). No fragrance. The Estee L equivalent is lightly scented, slightly better at melting smoothly, but much more expensive. Inexpensive Garnier balm is very adequate, but unpleasant fragrance. Recommend purchasing the economical large size Clinique when on sale.

I love this makeup remover. It has almost no smell and a little bit goes a long way. I have sensitive skin and it hasn't caused my face to breakout at all! My skin feel so soft.
