Are the fletchings real feather?

No. They are made of a rubber-like material. Don't let that stop you from buying these. They are bonded on really well. When these fletchings become bent or warped, all you have to do is dip them in boiling water for about 8 seconds and they straighten out on their own. Best practice arrows I've found and very visible.

Can I shoot these out of a compound bow with a 70lb draw weight?

You should not. These are spines are 500. If you are at 70 pounds you likely need a 300 to 400 spine, depending. Google “arrow spine selection” and determine the right spine based on your tip weight, draw weight, and draw length.

It seems is too long for my cross bow, can I cut to shorter it to 20"?

I definitely would NOT recommend doing it. You will be removing 1/3 of the arrow length which also means 1/3 of the weight. These arrows are only 500 spine to begin with, meaning they are thinner walled and much lighter than crossbow bolts. At best they would fly erratically, at worse it could do the same as dry firing the crossbow and create a very dangerous condition. Best to order some 20” bolts.

Does it work on a kid compound bow

As a Archery instructor I can tell you that yes you should have no issues with them, just don't cut them as it changes the spine.
