These are delicious

Are you 80 years old or older? Do you want to be? Well, want no more, just buy up 68 oz. of pure, delicious, buttery, sugary WERTHER'S ORIGINAL candies and you too can feel like the oldest guy or gal on the street. After opening the bag, my back started hurting and I had to put on suspenders. By the time I opened up the first wrapper, I'd already found myself whisked away to my front porch, sitting on a rocking chair, yelling at parked cars for driving too fast.Thankfully the effects were only temporary, as I soon came to my senses after finishing my second delicious treat and realizing I had been asking the mailman to come inside the house to fix my internets because the Facebook was acting up like it had the gout.All jokes aside, by far my favorite old man candy. And I'm pretty sure two bags this size will literally last me a year (if I don't share).

Like the taste of Coke or M&M's, Werther's Original hard caramel candies are classic and evergreen and pretty much everyone has tried one sometime. So if you haven't tried one, walk into a Seven Eleven and grab a pack, they are delicious! It's perfect crunch and caramel taste makes for a great treat anytime.I purchased this dual pack to place on my coffee table. I like to have something delicious in a bowl on my coffee table for that welcoming feel (like when you go to a restaurant and they have a bowl of mints at the door or the smell of freshly baked cookies). I had Wrigley's in there before and needed a change. These are perfect, they have been going surprisingly fast, everyone who comes over grabs a handful, it's like I put out a snack for every guest with no extra work! This dual pack is enough to fill the bowl three times over and will probably last three months (I've been measuring how many disappear a day).If you have many regular visitors or need candy for trick or treaters (as Halloween is swiftly approaching), this is perfect. Almost no one can hate this inoffensive candy and makes a great treat. If you are running a cafe/restaurant/waiting room/open house, these makes a inexpensive inoffensive treat to add a warm touch anywhere. This is the best price I've found so far, so if you're in the market for a massive amount of delicious candy for anywhere, this is it! I'll be purchasing another set for Halloween.

Granny's favorite hard candy! I bought her a several packs when I bought her the "Flinstone's chewables with IRON" her doctor said she needed to start using for her anemia. I knew that the vitamins were going to taste bad, so I told her to pop one of these in her mouth as a treat when she finished the vitamin. She is almost 95 and has mild dementia. Since she lives in another state and I am hundreds of miles away from her, I rely heavily on Amazon to get her things to make her life just a little better/easier.A week later, she asked me if I had ever used Flintstone vitamins because she wanted to warn me that they taste awful. She thought the nurse that comes by to take set up her medicines and that takes her to take her to Dr. appointments had bought them. I reminded her that I was the one who sent them at that I also sent Werther's to use as a "chaser" because I didn't think she was going to like the taste of the vitamin. She had forgotten I had told her that. So she says, "Well it's a good thing I have several bags of those hidden away. I don't know where they came from, but I just love that candy. Some days I eat 4 or 5 of them. I don't put them out in the candy dish 'cause I don't want anyone else eating them up." I told her that keeping them hidden was fine as long as she could remember where she hid them. :-) For some reason, the thought that she could forget where she hides them was hysterical to her.

I like that one of the features to rate is whether this is giftable - sure; it's a big bag and would make an impressive gift. But who would want to give this away! I can't imagine anyone hasn't had Werther's originals before - this is the same product you buy in the store but at a much better price. Great to just eat, but I'll share a secret - grind these up in a coffee/spice grinder and you have caramel powder that you can add to anything you like, with the great taste of Werther's.

This product is excellent but don't buy it at Amazon. Buy it elsewhere as it is grossly overpriced at Amazon. Amazon is acting like Elon Musk now because it limits what you can say on your reviews so make sure they don't make Amazon look bad.

These were really really good

I buy the big bag and keep a candy dish filled. Many times one candy can stop me from eating four cookies - lol!
