How much does the Jack hammer by itself weigh? Is using it horizontally horrible?

Eli,I bought a Bosch 35 lb Jack hammer instead of the bosch Brute so I could use it horizontally if I needed to. It weighs probably 40 lbs with a tip on it. very powerful, the only thing I don't like about it is the switch to turn it on and off instead of it being on the handle. I am 55 years old weigh 164 lbs and have no trouble using it horizontally. wouldn't want to do it all day though!
