Looks great and easy install
Great product. Updated my 20 year old gas cooktop to this with little to no issues.Few things you must consider:1) make sure your cut out is just right.. mine happened to be just short on one end so I just took a jigsaw and cut less than 0.1 of an inch to drop it in place.2) my existing gas supply was a MALE 1/2” but what is provided in the kit is I believe a 3/8” or it was 1/2” which didn’t fit regardless so I needed to purchase a 1/2” female to 5/8 “ OD to fit the 5/8” flexible connector that I ALSO needed to purchase3) so far getting all the burners up and running was easy, but it does take a second for you to get used to it because of its safety features.Overall give it 5 stars. Will update once I have cooked a few times.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE...DONT BUY IT!
I thought this was a great price for this cooktop & it looked high end at a budget price, however, once it was installed, first I found one of the grates had a crack, a small one, but still, it's brand new and shouldn't be that way.The BIGGER issue is the center burner will not stay lit once you release the knob.I contacted Amazon support & they were as helpful as possible, but said I had to talk to the manufacturer directly. I asked for a phone call, as opposed to emails so any questions could be addressed at one time and taken care of quickly. Empava did eventually contact me, by email, not by phone. After a few days of back & forth emails (and asking for a phone call several times and NOT getting one)it was determined by Empava that I have a bad thermocouple, and they are willing to send me one for free...IF...I can provide pictures & proof of purchase, which every screen shot of my order, order number etc., I've sent, is not good enough to even get them to send me the broker part, that we really don't know for sure is the issue. I don’t quite understand…Amazon contacted them directly HOWEVER...even if I ever do get them to send me the supposed broken part, I have to hire a local technician to install it. So now, I paid to have it installed, it doesn't work properly, its damaged, AND I have to PAY to get it fixed and working??? This is a BRAND-NEW cooktop! Seriously? So, I should have just bit the bullet and gone to Best Buy or Home Depot and spent the higher amount, at least I know I'd get a cooktop that is actually working properly. Oh...and after mentioning the cracked grate several times, it was never addressed either.I HIGHLY recommend you do NOT purchase this cooktop or any other Empava appliance!

Nice for the Price
Installed this on a Saturday afternoon. Some of the instructions are a bit confusing. They appear to have been translated into English by a person not entirely familiar with American English or even the Queen's English. If one is familiar with working with gas appliances, it is not an issue. If you're not, and you plan on doing this yourself, take some time to check out some of the tutorials on gas stove installation available on the internet before starting.Stove comes with fittings for both LPG and natural gas as well as a spare set of jets. The brackets included to secure the top to the counter may not work for you. They didn't for me. My counter is too thick and had to make my own brackets.Overall, it is well constructed even though it isn't as sturdy out of the box as something like a Bosch. Once it is installed, that slightly flimsy impression goes away.I didn't have to adjust the new pressure regulator (included) after installation. It was set appropriately for my setup. You will need to provide gas rated PTFE tape to seal the connections. This is YELLOW Teflon tape. Don't use white Teflon tape. Check your seals with soapy water to ensure you have no leaks. This replaced a GE Profile gas cook top. So far, I've prepared two meals using this cook top. I'm very pleased with its performance. The large burner in the center handled my wok and I was able to whip up a stir fry easily.Other users have complained about difficulty getting the stove to ignite. Remember when you first assemble, and turn on the gas, there is air in the internal lines in the stove. Open the valves on all burners until you smell gas to purge the air from the system. Vent the room and then try and start. Mine fired right up.

Cooktop quality good. Installation manual poor.
The overall quality is excellent and it is a beautiful looking cooktop. The installation manual was rough going and there was no video to guide us. The english was poor. For example the manual talks about in three places the "Air Supply Valve" when I think they mean the "Gas Supply shutoff". For example: 'Notice that a horizontal separation below the base of the hotplate is needed. The minimum distance between this separation shall not exceed 5.90"' Not sure what this is trying to say. It is confusing since the way it is worded the minimum distance sounds like a maximum ("shall not exceed") and the diagram wasn't helpful.Someone needs to rewrite the manual: e.g., for the above example are they saying: "A minimum distance from the bottom of the cooktop to combustible materials below is 5.90 in".For Propane conversion, instructions were poor. I only figured by watching videos of NG -> LP conversion for other stoves. No real instructions on how to swap the nozzles. "Remove the burners, burner caps and screw out the nozzles from the burner bases." Without watching videos for other stoves I would never have found out where the nozzles were and learned about the masking tape hack required to do this. The conversion of the gas regulator was equal cryptic. This paragraph was long and I'm not retyping it here, but again without watching videos of other stoves would not have been able to figure it out.
