I'm really impressed with these speakers. Cheap PC speakers usually feel and sound cheap, but not these Amazon Basics speakers. Before even taking them out of the box, I could tell that they were substantial. They're heavy for their size. Up close to the PC, in a normal use position, they sound full bodied. Even 8 feet away they sound pretty good. If you want to fill a large room with sound, you'll need larger speakers and an amp, but for a desktop setup, these inexpensive stereo speakers are great! I also like the fact that they're powered by USB, so they don't need an extra power brick or wall wart. The blue lighting on the bottom of the speakers is a bonus, but I'm not a big fan of tarted up PC components. Speakers need to sound good, and these do. However I do like the silver color on these speakers. Nicer than basic black. Overall, I'm a fan.

I bought a returned item for a few dollar discount.First, the quality of the device is really top notch.Sturdy, hefty, glossy material, and the sound quality is very good.I ended up plugging the power directly into the outlet, as opposed to the PC's USB slot.The downside is, since the power is always on, the blue light is also always on.It's not TOO bright, but since I use this for my bedroom PC, this can be an issue for some.If you choose to plug this into your PC, then this is not an issue since the power will be lost when you turn off the PC.Anyways, great device.

WOW... That's all the words I had after unboxing them and plugging in. They look and sound like much more expensive speakers (and I own quite a bit of them Bose, SONOS). The blue light is a unique & cute feature as well and they are much heavier than you would expect which speaks to the quality. For reference the audio quality is about 10x better than the PC speakers and also much louder volume range (standard dell PC). I just purchased another pair for my small tv. Honestly you can't go wrong with these also no extra A/C adapters are needed with the power via USB that can be inserted into the laptop - the more outlets we can save the better!!Highly Recommend.

Great sound quality for the low price. Nice and compact size, easy to make work. Really good bass quality. I got them and cranked up the Ramones to see how they would handle it, and they did great! We'll see how long they last, though. If they fail before a year is up, I will be back to change my review.

Update: I tried headphones on my computer and they worked. On a whim, I tried these speakers again...and they work now!! WTH?? But everything is good now and I cancelled the return. I changed from 1 star to 5 stars! And I love the soft blue lights!--------------Original:I plugged it into the audio jack on the back of my computer, and nothing worked! I plugged the USB in, and the pretty blue lights came on, but no sound at all. So I plugged it into the headphones jack on the front of the computer, and I still didn't get anything! No matter what I tried, I could not get these things to make a peep. I am returning them. I just got them today! The lights came on, but nobody's home!On the plus side, they are pretty and they feel nice. They are nice and shiny and new! Too bad they don't work!
