I really like the Profile pens. I used to use any old pen, but happened to be at a store and used one of these and was struck with the smoothness of the writing; so many ballpoint pens have a noticeable drag across the paper or else the ink doesn't flow well. I've had these pens for a few years now, and the ink always seems to flow well, and I have never had any kind of a dragging feeling while writing.I have found a pen that I want to keep using.

These are the pens you need for work if you do a lot of writing, take notes, or find yourself & your customers signing stuff all the time. They're very comfortable to hold, even when you have to write all the time, & they're so smooth that it's like having a very expensive pen, but they're quite affordable. Also, they don't clog or spit gobs of sticky ink everywhere. I can use one all day & not have any blue ink on my fingers at the end of the day. Also, this ink is waterproof, grease-proof, & doesn't smear. Buy at least twice as many as you need- customers will ask to keep them & your co-workers will take them. They're nice pens.

By far my most favorite pen. I know what you're thinking "it's just a pen". But it's perfect. It rights smoothly and easily. And my husband doesn't notice when I draw a cute little mustache on him while he is asleep. It writes so smooth and with such precision he doesn't even wake up. Okay I'm just kidding I have never done that, or have I? You'll just have to buy it and see what you think.

I like these pens for the most part. My only gripe is they get a little leaky sometimes.

Great pens. I love blue ink. It seems like most sold in stores theses days are black. These write very nice and they last a long time. Will purchase again.

These pens are just what I was looking for. I don't normally buy the larger point pens, but I was looking for the comfort of the grip on these and couldn't find that in a finer point Paper Mate. The ink flows nicely and doesn't blotch, so it makes it just right for doing my checkbook and registry, which is it's main purpose for me. I only need to find it in black ink and I'll be all set. Good value at 4 pens for under 5 dollars. Would buy again!

These 1.4mm Paper Mate pens, along with the Bic Profile 1.6mm are the boldest ballpoint pens I know of. These are not quite as epic-smooth as the Bic 1.6 but are still nice and smooth, and after using these for several years, I haven't yet had one get scratchy or fail on me; this is the benefit of having an extra-large ball point.I actually prefer these over the Bic 1.6mm because those are a bit too slick for my liking- these have just enough drag when writing to not be overly slidey and lacking control. I also I like the more normal size and feel of these (the Bic 1.6 feels a bit too big and bulky). Both are lovely pens but I prefer this one for general writing purposes. For writing big bold signatures, or pen art, the Bic 1.6 might be better.

Easy to hold, light weight and a beautiful writing pen - I use these daily at work - no smudging and the pen lasts a long time without drying up - a very good buy - you will be pleased

So I purchased these pens and received them on Aug 11, so I have had them for 9 days. Although I love how the pen rights and its comfortable in my hand, one of the pens has already stopped working. Looking through the plastic it looks like there is ink still inside but I can not open the pen to actually see. If the pen only lasts for 9 days then its a pretty expensive buy. Will see how the other ones hold up. But for now a bit disappointed in the few days i got to use one of them.

I find these pens are very smooth writing and comfortable to use.
