Can it do multiple thicknesses?

yes it can do multiple thickness but remember its not universal it does not do all sizes it has limits. I only have used it on 3/4 inch and 1inch material.

How well will this work on insulation foam?

I wasn’t impressed, doesn’t sand edges very well. Go buy a sanding block!

Works well for breaking the edge on edge banding so it’s not sharp

This is held up very well. I anticipate never needing to replace it. Sounds nice edge on edge banding, cutting the sharpness. Overall, I highly recommend it to everyone out there that like me does not have an edge banding machine that automatically does this.

Great product

This product does exactly what it is advertised to do. Well made and thought out. There is storage for extra sheets of sandpaper in the the handle. Good value.

A tool to do without.

This turns out to be a tool I can do without. It is no faster than hand sanding. The resulting edge is still fairly sharp. The sandpaper clogs quickly and pre- cut replacements are very expensive. Paper can be shop cut, but there goes more time. Hand sanding,, a random orbital sander, or a round over plane are all better options.

Great for strait runs. Bad for corners.

Works well on most surfaces, but cannot get into corners.Also, recommend using on naked furniture only. Sand paper will easily gum up if any finish is on the wood.
