Love the color I get from this—but it's not always available.

I used Surya Brasil Henna Cream (Burgundy) for many years until 2016, I guess, when the new "organic" formula left my gray roots orange even after 3 hours. I decided to give it another try this year and I am not disappointed. It does cover the gray color of the roots provided you stay with the cream on for 60 min. No heating cap is needed.

For many years I could not dye my hair, using this Surya henna, I can color my hair with minor irritation. Love this product.

I'm giving this 4 stars because it left my hair feeling AMAZING. I've used powdered henna in the past and it was a pain in the neck and super messy. After a couple of weeks, it left me with a greenish tint to my hair, so I went back to using regular dye (mostly herbal tints). This product was super easy to use, although putting dye on damp hair makes it a little difficult to see if you've covered your hair completely. I have some gray hair now and this really didn't cover them at all. And the ones that did look brassy. Honestly it doesn't even look like I colored my hair, which I dont like. However, I will buy it again, just because this left my hair feeling incredible. I'll just try a new color!

This color works well to warm up my mostly pepper colored hair, but as others have stated, the mfg. has discontinued including gloves & a plastic cap in the package. I'll be looking for another product.

I do not use harsh colorants on my hair and this is perfect. Just covers gray and washes out overtime with no need to recolor until you want to. No lines in hair as it comes out and hair grows

Although it did not cover my Grey's, it went on smooth co pared to other Henna dye and did not stink
