Use alkaline batteries or the display won't work
Updated 09/22/18: After disassemble it and checked the connections, i figured out what was wrong with the unit: nothing. I was using rechargeable batteries and they provided 1.3v, and that wasn't enough to properly drive the lcd display. After using alkaline batteries the remote's display worked perfectly. Original post: The display in this remote is its most important piece, since its the only way to setup the soundbar, but my unit was not displaying anything in the display. The IR was working, but it doesn't show up anything. I figure out that the display is not properly soldered/attached to the mainboard, and if you press it hard with your thumb, you can make it work in the pressed area while you hold it. I managed to navigate the menu this way, but obviously it is defective. And based on other reviews, this is a common flaw from this provider.

Good remotes, EXTREMELY delicate displays on them...be careful
Bought 2 of these to replace my damaged ones. The screens on them are EXTREMELY delicate. Sadly...one of my sound bars original remotes was a different model and I bought these hoping they would work the same. These DO NOT have the “link” part I was hoping for (one of my sound bars links to the other and they both play at the same time filling the apartment with music...since no link though....thought that would be a issue....luckily for me...I have dual Bluetooth on my phone and link them that way instead 😉)

Works just like original one does
Works straight out of the bag. I used energizer batteries and it works as it should. All buttons work with no issues. I know some reviews said display did not work, but mines work perfectly fine. Good value !

This was purchased to replace the original remote for the Sound Bar purchased years ago. It works perfectly. It was great to find the same product.

Display didn’t work.
It’s a brand new remote and the display was dead. Apparently they used the cheapest, most unreliable components possible for these displays, because they’re the first thing that breaks on these remotes. My old remote is exactly the same. That’s why I bought this. It’s really annoying since there’s lots of settings you can’t adjust without use of the display.

Stopped working within 3 months.
Sub par quality product that ceased functioning just before the 3 month mark. Would not recommend.
