Great series

This is top fantasy with some heroes and many villains. it is very good work nice acting and the locations so well build. The wars are madly cruel as African tribal genocides and as convincing. Its not at all history of the war of roses but its a nice lesson of policy making and how the power corrupts the rulers and wannabees to.They are all chosen ones and that justifies the killings. Peter Dinklage is outstanding figure there the best Lanister and the man for all seasons. There are some other figures to respect and you create a mild interest for how they plan to defeat the ice death.

Excellent season as expected with great acting and cinematography. I read the reviews as i always do on amazon prior to purchasing anything and i have to agree that the actual cardboard case enclosing the set of DVD's is not at all good compared to the other sets I have in the series so no points to HBO there.

The four stars isn't for Games of Thrones it's self, that is a six star program as we all know. Four stars is for the poor case it comes in. The cardboard outside case is STUCK to the nice inner box and to open it you pull it apart, there are two blobs of glue/silicone which you need to remove and of course these don't come off clean. Then your left with a nice box with smudge marks of glue and an outter cardboard sleeve that no longer closes properly or stays on the inner box. The series 5 case was great, no issues at all, series 6 is very poor

Only 3 stars because of packaging* This is by far the best season of game of thrones, definitely up there with season 3. However the packaging of this Blu-Ray set is awful, the fact that you have to rip open the sleeve just to get to a disk is dreadful.The show picks right off from where season 5 ends at the wall. I personally feel this season has started to pay off everything that it has been 'teasing' since it's started, Danny's storyline was starting to have some pacing issues and was getting a little pointless and boring in my opinion but this season everything you wanted for her character happened and more!Side note, the quality of the audio,cinematography and visuals this season have been at times breathtaking!

This review reflects on the shoddy box set and not the fantastic show.Box sets 1-5 are quality and as a Steelbook collector I chose them over the Steelbook editions which is rare for me.However this edition is just awful and cheaply put together.. so we get a lenticular cover whoop whoop but the outer packaging that covers this has that terrible spot glue that marks it. Some Steelbooks have this and collectors will know what I'm talking about..it's horrible sticky stuff.Don't even get me started on trying to get the discs out. I feel ripped-off and let down by all of this. If you are considering buying this box set please save your money and wait for a better edition or Steelbook because this thing ain't worth it. Rant over. Winter is coming.
