The amount of comments complaining that the product does not stick or is left scratched after application means that people are applying with the protective covers on! The product will NOT STICK if you don't remove the protective film! Duh! It is extremely sticky.. And yes just as if you apply a sticker/decal without removing the backside, guess what, it won't STICK! No water is needed like regular window tint. Just remove back, apply over headlight and stretch it to get the creases out! SIMPLE. Once you are finished removing the creases with a squeegee, trim the edges and then finally, REMOVE the now scratched protective film on the outside! This is not complicated.

I bought this for my audi a3 to see what it would look like with tinted taillights, and after reading the reviews I wasn't sure if it was gonna work cause there was a few that said it didn't stick but i thought I would try it anyway to see, I didn't want anything too dark but I wanted it to make a difference and I think it's done just thag , the tint it's self is amazing the packaging comes with a foam cylinder , and yes there was a few creases which is inevitable they came out when heat was applied , the tint was really easy too apply , it did take a bit of time to curve it around all the edges but this was my first time working with any form of tint , would definitely say that if you want a quick , easy option for tint then you should definitely buy this

Totally unfit for purpose. Firstly there is practical no adhesive on the film. If you use the wet approach then expect to be disappointed as there is 100% no adhesive left once wet. Aside from this, once you do have it “stuck”, you need to rub it flat and it scratches so easily the film is ruined just from fitting it. Anyone using this on lights etc will be very disappointed. Avoid and buy proper 3M. This is a false economy, but wasn’t even that cheap.

I'd give this 5 stars if they included some instructions. After reading the other reviews, it appears that many people attempt installation without a heat gun. Bad idea. You'll almost be guaranteed to ruin it. You MUST have a heat gun. This should be spelled out in some instructions, which ought to be included. Mine went on just fine, but I had none of the quality issues others have described. You may decide your rear lights are too dark even with the light smoke, but you can always peel it off again. Don't know how it'll wear and weather, time will tell. But it's not expensive and far easier than trying to spray your lights and get both sides the same level of tint.

Really good value and quality. I have no experience of foils/films/wrapping cars and all that, but managed to get this done with a pair of scissors and the tool provided in the pack. £20 of 'rear light restorer' products and a bunch of time leading nowhere, this really made a difference. Pleased

The vinyl is ok but you cant use the squeegy that comes with it as it scratches the film? Very fiddly

Producto totalmente válido pero con "peros". No vale, por ejemplo, para oscurecer un poco más la pantalla solar de un casco de moto ya que su transparencia a la luz deja bastante que desear. Evidentemente no está diseñado para eso y es para lo que lo compre... Me arriesgué y perdí. En cuanto a la colocación, hay que revisar unos pocos videos de youtube. Si nos ponemos a hacerlo "a las bravas" obtendremos una chapuza más que asegurada. En mi caso lo conseguí colocar casi perfecto pero, repito, la transparencia no es adecuada y se pierde visibilidad. Para unos pilotos, cristales de coche... pues perfecto. Decir que hay que armarse de paciencia o ser un poco manitas. Por algo los talleres cobran por hacer estos trabajos. Bien usado es un producto excelente, pero no es para todo el público ni para todos los usos. En cualquier caso, calidad acorde con el precio.
