the drive is fine , looks reliable, it is fast as advertised, and it is NOT noisy.

Poorer URE than on other drives this size

Other 'Data Centre' or 'Enterprise' drives in this class, which are designed for high usage RAID environments, have a Unrecoverable Error Rate of less than 1 in 10^15, or 1 error in every quadrillion bits (1,000,000,000,000,000).This drive however, only manages 1 in 10^14, which is common among 'desktop' class drives. It doesn't sound like much, but that extra zero makes a HUGE difference when you're handling TBs (Tera BYTES) worth of data, during an array rebuild.As a result, I would definitely not recommend this model.It should be noted though, that from the data sheet I've just been looking at, that the larger drives 12 and 14 TB do actually have a higher URE of < 1 in 10^15 bits.
