All 5 received are growing lovely and healthy. The roots need to be put in water for a hour before planting. One has even started to flower. I would recommend

My bareroot strawberries arrived today. I knew what to expect as I've purchased bare root strawberries before. At first glance they will look dead they are definitely not if you look closely at mine you will see a new shoot on all the plants. This is the best way to purchase your plants. The first thing to do is to hydrate them so pop them into a bowl of warm water for at least 2 hours before planting them.After giving them a good soak I potted mine up straight away. I've put 2 to each of my troughs as shown in my video. This will allow them plenty of root space.Mine are in a sunny spot so I will need to make sure they don't dry out.If you are planting them in individual pots I would suggest one plant per 7 to 8 inch pot. Again because they need good root space. If you are planting in the ground plant 18 inches apart choose a sunny sheltered spot.Once they get growing and start producing flowers they will need feeding this will encourage them to produce a good flavour and good size berry. I use tomatoe food as its high in potassium. Apply again in two weeks and again in another 2 weeks.They will need regular watering. Water around the plant base a mulch will help.This particular variety Marshmello is a strong and vigorous plant that produces delicious sweet berries. I have grown these before and they have been a great success. I have just had some sent to a friend to try.I would recommend these bare root strawberries. Please remember they will look dead on arrival and to give them a good drink.I do hope you found my review helpful.

Items found to be of a good quality, planted within 4 hours after arrival and a good soaking. Results so far good, should get a good crop of strawberries.

Bought a year ago and looked after. Not one strawberry, a rip off. Lots of leaves and that's it.

Delivered quickly and in a safe manner. I recieved 5 healthy plants. After soaking the roots for 60 minutes I then trimmed the roots to approx 10cm. This encourages more roots to form quickly.I took a photo of them soaking. Then a photo the next day after planting in a raised bed. As can be seen they are already putting on a spurt of life. The white granules are vermiculite which is also dug into the soil to a depth of 6 inches.I can highly recommend this seller. If you are new to Strawberries do a bit of googling for success. Most issues result from planting too deep (root rot) or not deep enough (roots drying out). Hope this helps.Just a quick update. 8 days after planting and they are already putting out the fruiting stems.

3 out of the 5 arrived in great condition and are already growing nicely. 2 were black and sort on arrival,I planted them out but there is no sign of growth. Unfortunately I don't think there will be hence the 3 star review.

I bought these in March 24, I was a bit concerned when they arrived at how small they were but I followed instructions and the plants soon bounced into life, lost 2 plants but there were more than 20 in the bundle. The advice was that they wouldn't have much fruit for the first year and would fruit properly in a years time. How right they were, the amount and size of the fruits this year is amazing so I would highly recommend.
