Sounds great, easy to use, quality built!
I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this product I but I was pleasantly surprised! It works very well and sounds great! I drove from Arizona to California and the signal was never interrupted by another radio station (which I thought it would be) and the sound quality was better than if I use an auxiliary cable into my radio. The buttons felt a little cheap when clicking them but everything else on it feels really solid. It warns you if you have a poor battery or connection that could damage the item and it’s very easy to use and set up. And once it’s set up it automatically connects to the phone when you enter the car and maintains all the settings you left on it before. This has really helped me for long trips because I’m able to charge my phone and listen to music, I couldn’t do both before because my iPhone only has the one lightning port. This is a quality item at a great price that has really helped my older vehicle become more comfortable and I’m really happy with my purchase!

Does as advertised, seems a good value
Update: my old one was stolen out of my car so I ordered another one. I'd probably be better off with a TrekPow but this things is good enough for me and costs a little bit less.Original review: Just got this and I'm stoked. Yeah, so this pretty much works as advertised so far. Yep, I can pipe music from my iPhone to my old car radio, no problem! Caveat—this is my first purchase of this sort of device but the controls seem simple and easy to understand. Also, it seems to hold its default station and link to my iphone even after the dongle is pulled from the v12 port (ie it remembers the station tuned to and my device…at least it appears to anyways; maybe it I leave it overnight it'll forget?UPDATE 1: The dongle sometimes remembers my phone and sometime does not; sometimes I have to tell my iPhone to connect using the Bluetooth settings connection feature. This procedure is easy enough but it's not clear when this will be required and when not. That's an inconvenience if one is in a hurry to get on the road and listen to one's tunes at the same time. In thinking about this, though, it's kind of a feature if you don't want a phone call your having as you get into the car to switch over to the car system instantly. So I call this a wash on my rating, not effecting it either way. This thing does have static sometimes on the FM signal but it's not that noticeable at all once the sound is up. Plus, by reorienting my phone or the dongle in the 12v port, reorienting any nearby USB cables, etc, I can very often mitigate the type and frequency of the static sufficiently. It's basically normal EM interference from human and other EM interference sources of a low power FM broadcast.I have not yet tried this for phone calls so can't comment on how well this works for that. If there's problems there, I'll try to remember to update this review when I get a chance.Basically, I just needed to pipe music to my car's radio and this was easy to do. Also a cool thing is that I can stream music from the Internet to my car stereo via a phone using the cellular network; a friend of mine tried Pandora in my car from her phone and it worked great with the BT36, definitely sounded better than my old iTunes heavily compressed MP3s on mine.My one disappointment with this product is that it is not Blue Tooth 5 but an earlier rev; max throughput is 320kbs according to the specs in the instruction pamphlet, minimum is 64kbs. I'll keep looking for a better device and hopefully one will come up eventually.

A Great Item for Your Car!!!
This product is super easy to set up and use. I love listening music when driving to work; with this product, I can listen from my phone via Bluetooth, USB drive, and TF card. When having conversations, all my calls are crystal clear and no lag and never dropping a single call. It works exactly as it should. This is a nice product and I would highly recommend this for everyone who is looking for a great transmitter.

It works fine, but I wish it would turn off with the car..
UPDATE 1 year later- Because this is inconvenient to plug in and out every time- I only use it when driving 20+ minutes. Because of this I usually will listen to the channel closest to my FM station, which happens to be a Christian radio station. Unfortunately this device has helped me realize I may be going to hell.My old FM transmitter would turn off on its own every time the car was turned off. This one will remain on and suck all the battery power it can to do so. Its really annoying when you forget, and you come inside to have your phone still connected outside- no audio. Or, if you forget and leave it in the car overnight it can drain most of the power from your battery. The only time I had done it, the doors wouldn't unlock when I pressed the key and I had trouble getting my car to start. It works fine, just beware that you need to unplug it every time you get out of your car.

Very pleased - it really works!
I drive an older car up to 4 hours per day that does not have many of the bells and whistles of newer models including Bluetooth. I like to listen to podcasts or audiobooks on my drive but using headphones or relying on the speaker of my iPhone 8+ was frustrating. I was skeptical about this items ability to work in a metropolitan area with many radio stations but I am very pleased that it does so without issue. It is super easy to set up and connect to my phone, the sound quality is good (occasional static in traffic - but nothing that warrants changing the station), and the charger ports both work as described. I have not used it for a phone call yet but I have no doubts it will work just fine in that capability too.I’m very happy with this purchase and wish I would have bought a Bluetooth transmitter months ago!

Excellent sound and features. Worth every penny
I bought this because my 2017 Nissan versa did not connect with my phone to play music. if you leave your Bluetooth on when you get out of the car and come back to the car it will automatically reconnect and play the song where you left off. Very easy to use and definitely worth the money. I was afraid the quality would suffer but it sounds exactly like I was playing a CD. High quality for sure. Wow. Excellent product. My advice is to try a classical song to begin with and let blow you away. I was shocked. I am NOT receiving any kind of compensation from whoever is selling it. For all it does they could sell it for 50 bucks and it would still be worth it. 😊
