Great for teaching time

I read that many schools are no longer teaching how to read analog clocks. I think it's a relatively easy skill to learn and this book makes it simple. The book teaches how to read on the hour times: 1:00, 2:00 -12:00.Then it teaches half hours, 1:30 - 12:30. Then it shows quarter past ________ and quarter to ___________.It finishes with 5 to 45 minutes past or to the correct hour. Students read 1:45 and have to draw the hands on the clock or they see the clock and have to write what dime it is, This is so easy to do that an older sibling or parent to help them if they can't read the directions are all that's needed. I purchased an analog Super Mario clock for my grandson's room which I'll give to him once he knows time to the quarter hour. The book it self is a flip notebook style and it's suggested for ages 6-8. I like this book so much that I'll look into more things they sell.

My son was having trouble with his time telling. This workbook, along with a clock has definitely helped and we see a great increase in his ability!

Starts out with basic times as on the hour, half hour & has repetition exercises which I think kids need. So far grandson like the exercises.However, because I didn’t pay attention to size , I was surprised how small the booklet is, but it’s ok

It’s basically the same activities over and over. When school got canceled I decided to order some extra help books for my 10 year old in the subjects he struggles in. Being autistic he does have some delays and is obsessed with time. This does help but it’s the same thing over and over.

This is an excellent resource for teaching kids time and it explains everything in a step by step instructional style. You can use this for a homeschool or as a supplement to at school learning, just inquire with the teach so that you can use before and after the skill is explore. This product arrived on time, was purchased brand new and was a purchase well worth the money. I highly recommend to parent and teachers teaching time to others (kids).
