5.11Men's Fast-tac 8" Tactical Boot 8''

After over a year of constant use, (10 hrs. a day), These boots have held up remarkably. I have zero negative comments to add. I have replaced the laces but, that is bound to happen when wearing them so often. With such a good brand & price, I cant see any other option for me in the future. I also must add how comfortable these boots are. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. Size is True, and the lightweight design will make you forget you're even wearing them.

I bought a pair of these boots back in 2020, to go on a one day hike. Three years later, I wear these boots basically every day. Not a single tear. The soles have worn down and I've replaced the laces twice. But the boots themselves are tough as bone. Aftwr three years I've walked a couple thousand miles in them and they're super comfortable. Amazingly reliable boots. Would recommend.

These fit very well and are very comfortable.

These boots are very comfortable if you wear them with thin socks. I bought them a 1/2 size bigger because I normally wear thick socks in the winter. The boots are a bit narrow and would be perfect if they had a side zipper because with the thicker socks,it's kind of a struggle to get your foot in. Also, it would of been a better idea to have the hooks on the upper part instead of the eyelets.that would of made it faster to tie up the laces. I haven't worn them in the rain yet,so I can't give it a waterproof rating. The soles are beefy.lots of grips. Nice boot for the price.

Was really worried they wouldn’t hold up on my camping/hiking exhibitions, they have met every challenge head on.Highly recommend

I use these boots casually compared to most so take this review with a grain of salt. I bought these boots in 2021 for how they looked. And I'm now writing a review in 2024 because the bootlaces gave out and snapped and the boots themselves have no holes in them or serious wear yet.. simply amazing. I'm glad I chose these all those years ago. I would recommend sole inserts for people that have to stand in place although. But whose buying black tactical boots for comfortability anyways.

I just needed a solid boot- I am a martial arts teacher but I work with some Military and Law Enforcement. Needed boots that actually felt like combat /tactical boots to teach on base and academy and understand the footing of the guys for combatThis boot is very substantial and I feel the for the weight of the boot my foot is protected. Traction is great. I can feel the ground , but cushioning is sufficient for standing and sprints- will be getting insoles - I think it will help with support and keep fit tighter.But it's a great boot

I’ve been wearing them almost every day for the last month. They have been uncomfortable from the start and are not getting better as they break-in. Not only do they not fit as expected based on size, but they are also unusually hot. I will not buy these again and cannot recommend them.Additionally, the tongue is not attached the whole way down like on my Danners. This makes the tongue get in the way as I put them on, causing more fiddling than I’m accustomed to. It also means that water can easily get past the tongue and soak your feet. These will definitely be a summer only boot.The best thing I can say is they do seem to be durable.
