Fantastic Results - Couldn't Be Happier!!
We just moved into a new home. The owner shared with me that the kitchen/bathroom granite countertops were new and should be commercially sealed. Sure enough, every drop of water got absorbed (eventually dried with no damage) and I panicked anytime anything else touched the granite. After a lot of research and reading reviews, I settled on this product to seal the countertops. I also purchased the Miracle Sealants applicator https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00502YAQS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 which made the application so easy. I followed all instructions to the T and just finished sealing my granite countertops with two coats of Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus and they look perfect. I have to admit, I was terrified of doing this sealing job, so concerned that I would wreck my granite, but the sealer was easy to apply, never had a problem with it drying too fast and ending up with streaks or cloudiness. I highly recommend this product!

Great product for sealing flagstone around a pool (even a saltwater pool!)
We have struggled to find a good sealant for the flagstone coping around our saltwater pool. Products we have tried have not been effective for very long and/or made the stone shiny and very slippery, dangerously so. The stone was chipping and flaking very badly and we were getting lots of sand in the pool. Miracle 511 Porous Plus has sealed the stone and not made it slippery, and it did not change the look of the flagstone at all. The amount of sand in our pool after a long day of kids' swimming has been reduced to near nothing. Water beads up on the stone rather than soaking in (see the photo in this review) but surface is not slippery. No more chipping and flaking. Product is kinda pricey per quart. I needed 3 quarts to put 2 coats on my 110 linear feet X 12 inch surface. One coat might have been enough but I wanted to solve the problem once and for all. The 3 quarts also covered the water-facing edge and the small underside surface of stone, both of which get a lot of water splash. But the cost has been well worth it. I used a 5 inch brush for the main surface and 2 inch brush for edge and underside. I also applied it with water in the pool, just drained the water level down a bit. 2 coats took about 8 hours over 2 days but you can apply a second coat an hour after the first so it can be done in one day. Will have to see if I need to put another coat on next spring or not. I don't think I will, but if I do, it will still be worth it and I will probably need only one coat. This has been by far the best product for a tough problem.

Great sealer
I used the 511 Pourous plus on some travertine tile that I layed on my from porch and front steps. I applied two coats. It works extremely well. It actually gives you a nice light sheen on the tile and it prevents water penetration. The only thing is that when it rains, I do have to blow the water off with my electric blower because the water will sit on the tile until the sum hits it for a while. I guess you can let it dry by itself, but I like to blow the water off since its a quick and easy process.

I was a little disappointed. I thought granite needs to be sealed every ...
Product delivered on time. I have white granite in my kitchen. The fabricator/installer told me that the granite has to be sealed every year. I was a little disappointed. I thought granite needs to be sealed every 3-5 years. Installer Fabricator also advised not to use ANYTHING to clean granite except dish washing detergent. He stated that using windex glass cleaner can break the seal. I was horrified. I so glad I bought the sealer plus. The first coat dried in about 3 hours and I applied the second coat. According to the manufacturer the porous plus will last for at least 10 years and it is better than the impregnator sealant. I am relaxed now after applying two coats to the my granite in kitchen and bathrooms. I would have given it 5 stars but gave it four for two small reasons. It darkened the white granite just a little bit and took some of the shine away. It is not noticeable. The reason I noticed it is that I had a sample of the granite with me which I compared after applying the sealer. I am still happy with the product and recommend it. I will not wait for 10 years though to reapply. May be do another application in 3 years. It is very easy to apply.

Amazing
This stuff was a lifesaver to help seal my shower tile. I was able to eliminate stains that had been driving me crazy and this is exactly what I needed to seal it and prevent it from coming back through.

Repels water somewhat.
My wife forced me to install unfilled travertine in our tub/shower walls and after grouting the tile and holes I sealed with this stuff. 2 coats. Grout and tiles darken but when the sealant dries/cures the grout color returns. Maybe overall a bit darker than before sealing but looks better, without looking rich like some sealers that "enhance" the tile and grout for that always wet look. I'll have to seal every 6 months or sooner but that's because of the tile choice we made. Good product.

This is the stuff; everything else is junk.
I've tried Stonetech, Granite Gold and two or three other sealers. Don't waste your time. This stuff may be expensive, but it is worth every penny. It seals the granite and reduces the occurrence of stains. Water beads on the countertops and can sit 24 hours without soaking in. Before I used this stuff, even water soaked into my granite leaving dark marks that would take hours to evaporate. I just used a paintbrush to apply, let it sit for 3 minutes, wiped off the excess, waited an hour and applied a second coat. That was it. No long curing time and it works. Miracle Sealants Porous Plus is wonderful stuff. PROS - excellent seal - does not need a long curing time like other sealants - easy to apply CONS - expensive (but worth the money) - can darken very light granite; be sure to test a small section before applying over the entire surface Buy it especially if you have new granite and use it before you use the granite. It will keep it beautiful and stain free (with a bit of care of course).

Not great for Concrete Counters
I would not recommend this product as your only sealer for concrete counters. While it passes the "drop" test in that cold water does pool up rather than soaking in, it doesn't do much to protect from other things like acids, oils, and heat, all of which are common in the kitchen. Since sealing my counters with this product about a month ago, I have oil stains, acids like lemon juice leave the surface feeling pretty rough, and putting a hot pan on the counter left a rough ring in the shape of a pan. Even a french press full of hot coffee left a noticeable ring on the counter. Perhaps this is a problem with concrete in general and not just the sealer... Hard to say.

Awesome
I have natural stone tiles on my kitchen wall, behind the stove as a backslash as well. The contractor was just not professional enough to know that this was supposed to be treated with sealant to prevent the oil and other stains being sucked up by the stone what ended up on the wall while cooking. I have not spilled anything directly on it but it is normal when food is boiling on the stove to have humidity and stuff evaporate... A have suffered removing the residue. Didn't dare to cook again and ruin the wall again. After I have treated the tiles with this product nothing sticks in/on the tiles any more. I can truly recommend. Would do the job with paint and kitchen counter as well. However it made the color slightly darker, which I do not mind. Its nice and even.
