everytime i used it, it leak from the bottom

it is considerably smaller than the glass one that came with the blender. It will work, however, it fits very losely in my Oster Blender. I've used it for about two weeks. The first week I dissassembled and hand washed. After about one week of use, it started leaking into the blender motor. the metal gear on the bottom has started to rust. I still have the bottom blade portion from my previous jar, and after a year of use it is not rusted.This is very thin plastic. I think if this jar was as thick as the glass one it replaced it may be better. It comes with a little round gasket to prevent leaks between the screw bottom and the jar. It's not a very good gasket and you have to give it a firm twist to make sure the jar is firm in the bottom part. The problem is you have to twist it pretty tight to prevent it from leaking, and even tight it still leaks. Additionally, the plastic is very thin, and because you have to tighten it good to prevent it from leaking, It's now cracking all along the base of the jar. I may have 1 or two more uses before I will have to throw away this one. I've already ordered it's replacement, a glass one. Darned if you do darned if you dont. If the kids drop the glass jar on the counter or tile floor, again, it will break. If you get the theoretically dropable plastic one, you cant use it more than a few weeks before it will need to be replaced.

The blender jar works well with my existing Oster base. It's a bit lightweight and can easily tip over when not on the base.

Bought it in a pinch & didn't realize it was smaller than the one I had & not as sturdy.

Product or material too cheap,not strong enough

The product is compatible. But it doesn't stay in place when you first power the blender on. But it does the job.

Perfect blender cup. Being plastic it is light enough even when full. Chops ice easy.
