This is just what I needed and worked perfect. I also check the signal strength and quality going to my Sky Q box and it was exactly the same as the original Sky Q cable. Works great..

Having had my new TV delivered, I decided to take the opportunity to update/upgrade all my HDMI, Ethernet, and other cables. My current set-up is a few years old and a lot of cables are lower spec and/or the manufacturers supplied ones. I needed this one two connect to my projector sound out to the rear of my soundbar by via of an extension lead.I have had a few KabelDirekt cables before, but this is the first Coaxial one.This an exceptionally durable, thick black cable and certainly feels robust enough to last. It has Double, high density shielding material (aluminium Mylar + braiding), meaning reduced interference, yet good flexibility within it.The 24k gold-plated, corrosion resistant, connecters look to be reasonably superbly finished off and are covered is a metallic aluminium casing. Toward the back of this is a rubberised sheath, which extends slightly down onto the cable itself. Being perforated on the cable part, this allows the cable to flex without putting undo pressure on the wiring connections. As my TV is wall mount, the right-angled connection on the cable makes it easier for me to connect and trail the cable in the direction I want it to go. In my case, along and the down the mounting bracket. It also means that I can have the TV as flush as possible against the wall.I am using the cable to connect my satellite cable point to my SKY+ HD box. Both the picture and sound quality are particularly good, and I have had no issues. It is certainly better than the thin cable I had before.Given this cable is £9.41, I personally think it is very good value for money.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. This is another great product from KabelDirkt. So far I have not seen a single average cable frokm them, they have all been top quality.This cable, like all the other cables they produce are both designed and manufatured by them, to German standards.The cable itself is a thick, rubberised, rigid yet flexible and well shielded cable. However, the cable is nonly one part of the story as the plugs are more important.Data can easily flow through an indamaged cable but about when it enters plugs and sockets? What if the connections (plugs) are made of a poor quality material and aren't installed well? The result is a bad product as the data may struggle to enter the cable, it will then flow fast along the cable only to bottleneck at the plug on the other end thus causing lagging. When the data is lagging you get a low signal input and pixelating on the TV screen. That is where KabelDirect cables are more advanced and much better than their competitors. You get good quality, well shielded cable with two good quality plugs so that the data can flow fast and smoothly.One thing that really amazes me with this cable in particular is how shiny and sparkly the fully gold plated plugs are. This is by far the best quality of gold plating that I have ever seen on any plug.As with the other KabelDirekt cables that I am fortunate to have they all have excellent quality plugs, this is the one with the best plugs. So, I am highly recommending it as for a price of less than a tenner this really is good value. It is strong, it is well shielded and the quality simply cannot be beaten.

Fir years I've had a horrible plastic connector from the sat box to the TV. It wasn't even the correct threaded plug, but it did the job, though a loose fit that could be easily pulled out.This looked just the ticket and it hasn't disappointed. I've used other KabelDirekt cables before and have yet to be disappointed with any.No, KabelDirekt have no say in my reviews. If I thought it was bad I'd say so nut this is really nice.The cable itself is nothing to write home about aesthetically speaking - It's matte black with "KabelDirekt RG-6/U COAXIAL CABLE" printed along it. I would have preferred the braided look but that's just nit-picking.What matters is that the cable is nice and thick, it has a good feel and it doesn't resist bending or refuse to straighten from it's coiled delivery state. Just from that we know they've not just slapped some shiny plugs on a cheap bit of cable.On to these "shiny plugs". The actual plugs are gold and well crafted, they fit easily and well. Behind the gold is like a gunmetal finished sleeve which matches my other KabelDireKt stuff and just plain looks good.I can't measure the performance of the cable so instead I'll leave you with this : I've no reason to consider changing it until that technology is dead.
