ASUSVZ279HE 27” Full HD 1080p IPS Eye Care Monitor with HDMI and VGA

I really like these two ASUS monitors. Even though they are only 1920x1080 they seem to be enough for close computer work. I needed to get two new dual monitors because I needed the bigger screens to make it easier for me after I got cataract surgery. They are bright and easy on the eyes with all the control adjustment settings at the bottom of the screens. I would recommend these if you want a great monitor at a cheaper price.

This monitor is beautiful and it works perfect for my setup. I didn't realize it had no speakers but it's fine. The color is perfect and it does not strain my eyes. It is also very easy to put together. Perfect size if you only want one monitor on your desk. It is good for gaming, watching videos, and everything else. It is not too heavy either.

The monitors arrived with no damage. The packaging is very well designed. The monitors were very easy to set up and came up with no issue (beyond the cables, discussed later). The display is nice and sharp, excellent color. I'm not a gamer, the heaviest video demands come from streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime. I really like the extremely thin borders on these monitors. I can extend the window onto the second monitor and it looks almost continuous, which is good for extremely long spreadsheets. The cost was extremely reason. Now for the negatives. The monitor comes with HDMI cables, but my video card had Displayport connectors. I had to go out and buy a pair of cables to hook them both up. The other consideration is reliability. With maybe 20 hrs on them, these monitors are performing flawlessly. My old ASUS monitors are over ten years old, and never gave me a problem. I can only hope these are just as reliable.

Love ASUS screens always dependable and functional and best bang for your buck

I bought this monitor as the main family computer screen in our living room.I am not a gamer but I dabble. The computer is mostly used for youtube, school work and web surfing. For that it is PERFECT. For gaming however, I do still believe it holds its own but one will have the throw several hundred more for a pure gaming model monitor with maxed out specs.So far I am using the monitor out of the box settings wise the way it came. It is plenty bright and crisp. I love the matt finishing, and the almost borderless edging.With all of the complaints about the sound, I can confirm that #1 it does indeed have speakers (model VA27DQ), and #2 it is NOT that bad sounding! The audio, while very mono and lifeless sounding, it is clear enough and not choppy, which is all I wanted! If I want better sound I can just switch on the external speakers (although we rarely use those speakers, and thanks for the internal sound on the monitor we don't need to!)For the price: a good looking and large 27" Asus labeled modern monitor with sound and solid visuals for $100 plus change -- take my money please!

I loved this product never had issues I bought it in March 2022 Just 3 yrs ago and I have used it an average amount, certainly not excessively. Out of no where it just died no sign that it was going to do that, no lines on the monitor or changing of color, just worked one night a 10hrs later or so it just stopped working. All cables and power supply checked etc. I called ASUS to find out what could be done and to repair it was $85 plus shipping there and back and 2-3week wait time. Absolutely appalling I will never buy a ASUS product again because they're clearly not made to last and merely want to force consumerism and don't give a toot about the environment and over sate they produce. I replaced it with a better model, better brand with a 4yr warranty and so much more for over $50 LESS money than the original despite inflation over the last few year. DON'T BUY ASUS so not worth the money and terrible customer service.
