what's typical expiration date on these?

its exp. date is 4 years after its "made date". But I wouldnt leave it for four years after being opened unless you freeze it, even then, that's a long time frozen

Can someone tell me how this is used, maybe some recipes or use in recipes? I've never heard of this. Thank you.

This is a Peruvian seasoning. I use it to make a Traeger smoker recipe called Peruvian Chicken. You can look up the recipe on their web site. Would work on a regular bbq or you could make it in an oven. It is not super spicy.

Can anyone list the ingredients of the paste for me? I grew a huacatay plant and want to make the paste myself.

You can basically season the leaves how you want. Of course you have to grind the leaves into a paste. My mom adds garlic, salt, pepper, and oil. She rubs chicken with it. Puts the chicken in the bottom of a pot adds more sauce to cover them and uses these plants - I think fava beans?- to cover that. She covers the pot and let’s it cook.
