The stand is and looks white not gold very disappointed in this item but I gave it away as a gift and did not look at it before he took it out of the box. Not worth the money very upset

Substantial
This globe is a perfect piece for your office. It's heavy and very substantial and you can't beat the price. I've seen globes cost several hundred dollars. You want believe the compliments I'v received on this globe and it's a great conversation piece. I'm delighted with this product.

STUNNINGLY beautiful work of art
Bigger than i expected even though i used my ruler to get an overall opinion of its size. STUNNINGLY beautiful work of art. The stand is very shiny gold that sparkles from any degree in any light. The compass works very well and the globe itself....well stunning. I put it on a stand 3 ft high and it was knocked off, globe sounded like a bowling ball hitting the hard concrete floor covered only by flimsy glue down outdoor carpet but was absolutely fine without a mark or blemish of ant kind to show for its fall. Extremely well priced i would buy it again and in fact am going to buy another or 2 in different color schemes. Love this product.

It's absolutely beautiful and doesn't look cheap at all. The gold color is not as bright as in the picture, it's a bit more darker. however it's a great thing to have on a table. It is weighty and looks high quality.

Great colors
The colors are deep and rich, but the level of detail was disappointing. It was a gift for my husband and we live in Florida. So as soon as he opened it, he immediately looked at Florida. His exact reaction within seconds of seeing this globe was, “Florida is a little stubby.” Ten years ago, I ordered a similar globe, but much larger. The level of detail was perfect. I was expecting the detail to be the same with this globe, but it wasn’t. It’s going on display on a high shelf, so it will be ok
