Excellent thermometer. No issues. Works great.

The thermometer works well, the magnet is strong too. I ordered this thermometer on the 17th April, on the Amzon page it says, " usually dispatched within 3 days, I received my order on the 7th of May almost 3 weeks, where did come from, is my question!!.

Yes it's quite big, but it's not exactly massive, and precisely as I expected from reading the description. It seems accurate, is easy to read, and quick to change with rapid temperature changes (e.g. in my bucket where I mix water/conditioner for water changes). The magnet is strong I have had no problems with it shifting or falling off.

I've had problems in the past with electronic thermometers which stopped working after a year or so, so I wanted an old-fashioned traditional one. I tried a floating version, which was hard to read (and hard to find!) so this seemed just the job and amazingly cheap. I had to wait weeks - and had almost forgotten about it - so be patient. The magnet holds it to the glass so it's easy to read but tucked away in a corner. Thoroughly recommended.

Easy to install and effective

The thermometer is very good and also easy to read and very accurate, however my tank glass is 15mm thick and the magnet does not hold the thermometer, it doesn't say on the instructions that there is a limit that it can hold so beware, I have had to glue a rubber clasp onto the thermometer to be able to use it, which is now fastened from the inside.

It is perfect the only thing is that I realise is that we would have to pay customs and the administration fee for the customs added another 7 euro on to the cost. In the future when I buy I'll be making sure the customs in added to it

Was indecisive in buying this since I didn’t know if the numbers were going to be accurate, but I don’t regret it!Love how it’s big enough to read the numbers and that it’s made out of plastic! Also, it’s the perfect medium size!It did came a little dirty in the magnet part, but you can’t see it once you cover it with the other magnet.Will definitely be buying a heater next for my aquarium now that I know the water temperature!

I have been searching endlessly for an aquarium thermometer that is accurate and reliable…slim pickings out there. I purchased two of these for my 55 gallon aquarium and was quite happy when I took them out of the package and they both read the exact same temperature. After installing them in my aquarium, which was very easy, they quickly adjusted to the water temperature and still hold the same temperature between the two. The magnet feels strong upon first inspection and holds up probably good enough through my standard aquarium glass. It seems to move easily if bumped so we’ll see if I have any problems with my sucker fish or giant snail knocking it off. So far so good. I’d definitely recommend it.

El iman es potente y sirve perfecto. Me gustó que tiene una zona verde para indicar la temperatura segura del acuario.

Ci voleva proprio un termometro così! È di grandi dimensioni, di facile lettura e pulizia e, soprattutto, si regge grazie ad una calamita. Cercavo da molto un articolo così che restasse finalmente fermo nell'acquario con un semplice attacco magnetico al posto delle classiche ventose che dopo un po' non hanno più presa. I tempi di consegna sono un po' lunghi, ma aspettare ne è valsa la pena.
