Great Jump Rope That Actually Makes You Want to Work Out
This DEGOL Skipping Rope surprised me in the best way. It’s one of those pieces of workout gear that looks simple but instantly feels like a quality upgrade once you start using it. The ball bearings make each spin silky smooth with no snagging, no weird twisting, just that perfect swish you want when you’re in rhythm. The foam handles are comfortable enough that you don’t realize how long you’ve been jumping until you’re suddenly sweating and questioning your life choices (in the healthiest possible way). It’s lightweight, easy to adjust, and tangle-free because no one wants to spend their warm-up time untangling knots like it’s Christmas lights. Whether you’re doing speed work, endurance training, or just trying to sneak in some cardio while watching TV, this rope delivers. It’s durable, smooth, and makes jumping feel efficient and fun instead of a punishment from gym class. A simple, affordable, and functional tool that actually earns a permanent spot in the workout rotation.

Great for running jokes
Ex wife bought this exact skipping rope in July 2021 to lose weight. Still have it too, unopened. Never used. 5 stars because it gives me a good laugh every time I find it in a junk drawer.

Affordable, Easy to Use, But Flimsy
I like how affordable this jump rope was and it was easy to figure out how to adjust it, but I think the rope could use some more weight to it because it felt flimsy and hard to control because of that. I think if this rope weighed just a little more it would be easier to control and be less flimsy. Also the rope, because of packaging and stuff, may have creases or be a little wonky when you first get it out so that's also a downside but as others said there are ways to straighten it out either just over time with use or hanging it on something when you're not using it, etc. Before you cut the rope make sure you watch videos and check that you aren't cutting too much off. Step on the rope, even out the handles and pull it up, the handles should go about to your armpit, maybe a little above and the actual cord to your nipples or a little above!! I was going to give this 3 stars because of how flimsy and difficult to control it can be, but I bumped it to 4 stars because the price is affordable and you get what you pay for. Overall a decent product.

The best jump rope I have owned.
I have jumped rope since I was 14 years old (been jumping for 24 yrs.). My father taught me for boxing training. I've owned countless ropes, from pricey ones to cheap ones. This is a speed jump rope. I have weighted jump ropes also (weights in handles), but this is clearly not the design intention with the rope. At first, it feels cheap, but once you start using it, you figure that the simple design makes sense as far as balance. The handles are very light. There is a wire that runs down the actual plastic rope. It's genius. The weight is exactly where you need it. I have only used it for two weeks, but I am impressed. I would give it a higher rating for beginners, but I do not recommend speed jump ropes for beginners. If you start to jump rope, I would get a simple one first, then move up to a speed jump rope.

Okay at Best
After determining that the rope length needed to be adjusted for my height, I proceeded to unscrew one end cap to find the end of the rope. I struggled with dissembling the white cap for 10 minutes before giving up and trying the other handle. Sure enough I had better luck and was able to adjust the length. I used the rope for 20 jumps. The caps on the handles connected to the rope had nearly spun off. During the jumps (outside on grass and 8-10 mph wind) I struggled with putting the rope where it needed to go. After it passed over my head, the rope would jump wide and had difficulty straightening out to go under my feet. After speeding up significantly that wasn’t an issue. The handles themselves are comfortable. Overall the jump rope is light and easy to use. This just didn’t work out for me very well. I’ll be looking for a weighted jump rope with less design flaws.

Nice jump rope
I got this to start jump roping in the morning to help me wake up and it’s been helpful. The rope is super long so you’ll def need to cut it. It’s not super easy to cut as there are metal wires inside but it’s doable and I was able to get the right length and not too hard to do.

The rope twists and tangles, making it impossible to continue jumping
I bought this jump rope for HIIT,. Barely 30 seconds into jumping, the rope twists and tangles so badly, I cannot jump anymore and had to stop. Also, it really hurts when the rope hits my legs as it tangles up. It then takes me quite a while to untwist the rope before I can start my next interval jumping. Given all the good reviews for this product, maybe someone can give me advice on how not to twist the rope as I jump? update 12/28/19 I'm changing my rating for this product to 5 stars. I realized that the jump rope works perfectly now after I cut off the excess length of rope that I had previously tucked into the handle. It was the excess rope in the handle that impedes the free movement of the rope, causing the twisting and tangling. It would be most helpful to first time users if the manufacturer could provide this instruction not to tuck in the excess length, but to cut it off instead.

It serves its purpose
I’m a hardcore jump roper and in my honest opinion it isn’t the best but serves its purpose. Pros: the price, durable rope, easily adjustable Cons: the screws often get lose with extreme jumping, chronically tangles, pretty cheap material for the handles Just remember that you pay for what you get so just because something is cheap doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting the best product. Overall, it gets the job done, you feel a good workout with these, can withstand any surface, and it’s rope to begin with but just note I would recommend spending a lil more on another jump rope that way you know your getting a quality product and just remember BUY AT YOUR DISCRETION

Typical Men's health review
I have read the men's health review that this skipping rope is the price seller. That is true! It's really cheap. Everyone can afford 10-15 bucks for a rope. But if you want a rope for skipping you better skip this rope... A rope with a wired cable is absolut nonsense. It got stuck everywhere at my body.

Cheap, light and well constructed
This is a great buy! Ok skipping ropes and not the most complex things in the world, but this little gem has some features that make it standout against the rest. First off, its light, like really lite, which makes skipping that much easier, plus the ball bearings make it fast. First time skipping since a kid and it felt like it wanted me to double if not triple skips per jump. Secondly, the tangle free nature - its not really a rope, but just plastic, but not cheap plastic so the "rope" dangles straight and true and does not twist up or anything. Thirdly, the length is a great. I am six foot and its perfect for me. However my wife who is only 5'2" can still easily use it. Lastly, the grips are super comfy and do not get sweaty. They remind me of a comfortable tennis racquet grip. For the price point, these are a bargain.
