So far my favorite period panties!
I bought several brands of period panties as a back up to prevent leaks. The intimate portal lace trimmed ones were my favorite and the only ones I didn't return! They had the best and the most flattering cut. These are a back up panty, good for when you think you'll start, or as a back up to pads, tampons or cups. These aren't meant to be used alone. If you go too long and leak to the edges where the stitching is you'll leak through them. They are a little warm but I think any lined panty would be, how do you make something breathable and waterproof? My only really criticism is that the lining over the rear is not attached, which means it can show wrinkles in tight clothes and sometimes gives me wedgies. The other brands that I returned were 1) Hesta, which I really wanted to love because they were organic but were super tight on my thighs 2) Anigan, which received great reviews for performance but the style I picked were terribly unflattering, and 3) Funcy, which had sizing problems and inconsistency in the way they are made even though the price was great.Someone needs to make a hi-cut brief with a nice waist band and a fully attached liner that gives full protection front and back and that's pretty! Is that too much to ask?! Lol.

Basically fit and sound like a diaper.
These do not fit as shown on picture or as described. Also they are very noisy. They rustle and crinkle when you move- makes it sound like I am wearing a diaper. They absolutely would not work for moving about during the day or going out in public. Very disappointed in this product.

Changed my life!!!
Changed my life! I need to have bladder surgery; however, I am very apprehensive. I used to have to change my jeans two to three times a day due to leakage - now I don't. Also, and not least importantly, these underwear do not look like old-ladies underwear. They are very very modern appearing. These are the type of underwear I would buy even if they were not absorbent. In fact, I am going to buy more of them.

then you may not like these panties
If you are comparing to ICON, then you may not like these panties. They are certainly prettier and less expensive than ICON, however, the absorption ability is different. Moisture, etc., does not absorb into the fabric, but rather sits on top of the fabric liner.

The XL fit me just fine. I'm a trans woman recovering from lower surgery ...
I normally wear L and ordered one size up based on what I saw in other reviews. The XL fit me just fine.I'm a trans woman recovering from lower surgery and had minor complications, causing a small amount of discharge on a daily basis for many months. My gyno recommended I stop using liners 24/7 despite the issue, so these have been a life saver as they soak up everything for about 12 hours! Perfect for a work day, and saves many a bathroom trip that I did for just replacing liners.

THESE ARE THE BEST........THINGS........ EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why, oh why, did I not buy these years ago. I gave high ratings to other similar products that also work well, but these panties are my total favorite. Somehow they are cuter on than any other underwear I own. I'm tempted to wear them every day just because they're so cute. I have multiple pairs so I can wear them the whole time I'm near my period and keep wearing them when I'm on my period. My one complaint is that they can hurt a bit around the legs because they're tight there, but that seems like an essential design element so I'm ok with it. I alternate between these any another brand of period underwear to minimize that effect. I truly wish I could go back in time and buy these when I first started my period and wear them throughout my bleeding life. They are so much better than the ugly, awful undies I always wore to try to keep from ruining my nice ones. Now I can have wear cute undies on my period knowing that I won't ruin them. Score!

Great Period Underwear And Super Affordable
So, here's the deal. I just recently got the copper IUD and now I'm bleeding two women's worth. So I decided to check out the period underwear scene. Bought these. Bought some pairs of Thinx. THESE ARE SO MUCH BETTER! Also. They're cute, love that lace. Also also. Full coverage out back so I don't have to be constantly picking them out of my butt like Thinx. Serious plus.Clarification. I never fully believed I could wear these without any supplementary coverage. It's just too good to be true. But heck, I gave it a try to compare with Thinx. Within hours of wearing Thinx alone I had bled to the edge of the underwear and around to the other side. Was luckily wearing dark pants that day and wasn't sitting on any white furniture. Hours later I had bled through both edges of the underwear and around to the other side. I surrendered and put a pad in for the rest of the day. However! These underwear rose to the occasion. Things got bloody, things got messy, but no spill around the corner. I'll be wearing a cup in the future on my heaviest first few days but I'm confident these underwear have me covered. Would absolutely recommend!

Would not order again
I did a lot of research into menstrual underwear & wanted to start off cheaper than Thinx. These are priced great & the different colors with lace are attractive. Just going off looks is the 2 stars. There is a plastic type noise when walking but I personally don’t think it’s loud enough most people would notice. If you pat them at all however it’s totally noticeable(probably not an everyday issue for most people). They actually fit really well they’re just super uncomfortable because of the butt padding which is my biggest issue. If I wanted to walk around feeling like I had a pad on, guess what? I’d have worn a pad... the crotch area is thin & perfect so I don’t understand why the butt has to be so bulky & sound like plastic. I have 3 pair & will wear them on days I think my period will start but as soon as aunt flow shows & I can use a tampon these are going to be buried in the back of the underwear drawer. I wished these would have felt more like everyday underwear not everyday underwear plus a pad.

Confort!

Although I haven't tested these yet as such, I am sure they will be fine. Considerably prettier than my previous period pants and seem fit for purpose. Fit is as expected, perhaps a little bit on the larger side. I wear bottoms 8-10 and the size chart recommends size M for my measurements but I purchased S and they fit perfectly. There is some stretch, plus these need to be a tight fit to serve their purpose. These are also the ONLY ones which I could find to have black inner lining which as pointed out by numerous reviewers of other similar products is much better for obvious reasons ( not sure if all come with black lining, I ordered the pack of 3 and they all do - best to check individual pictures). I am on medication for heavy periods so hopefully won't get a chance to find out how well they perform in case of leaks but will update my review accordingly if I do. Recommended so far :)

Game changer
These period pants are great. I've really tested them over the last three months. Only two small reasons to not give 5 star, and to cope with reason 1) they would have to be a lot bulkier, so really it's more of a hint to potential buyers than a real issue:1) They cannot cope with a sudden flood of fluid - when this happens they do not absorb fast enough, and the liquid can seep through onto the outer layer via the stitching holes that keep the leg elastic in place.2) after several washes, there are a few pulled threads on the lacy parts.Other than that, they're great, cute design (mum and boyfriend approved!), I haven't been too sweaty, but it's not summer yet, so we'll see, so easy to wash by machine or hand, quick to dry. 3 pairs is enough if you handwash one every night for it to be dry the next day or day after that.

Brilliant product - perfect for a zero-waste period!
I love this product and have bought two sets of the black, and now I have a totally zero-waste period!!I am a UK size 10 and usually buy size 12 underwear. I bought the size S of these and they fit perfectly.I would say I am medium flow, and these work with no leaks even on my heaviest days. No pads or tampons required at all! These have completely revolutionalised my period and are brilliant high quality underwear with almost no VPL. I look forward to wearing them each month.

Not effective, still leaked
Bought these to help with slight urine leaks during exercise. Unfortunately they still leaked. I think they helped a little bit but the liquid went straight through onto clothes and they don’t dry quickly so it feels wet and horrible until you can change. They are big and bulky and rustle slightly when you move, so it does feel a bit like wearing a nappy, but they are less obvious than using a pad when wearing leggings. They are pretty though so they get a couple of stars for that. They might be ok for something like breakthrough bleeding but I wouldn’t use them again.
