Perception Kayaks Splash Seat Back Cooler - for Kayaks with Lawn-Chair Style Seats

I have a sit on top kayak and this fit perfectly behind my seat. Unfortunatly it was a bit tricky to get into because it is right behind the seat but once I figured out the best way it worked fine. Kept three frozen bottles pretty much frozen for the whole day in 100+ heat. I even forgot about it in my garage for several hours in that same heat and the bottles were still frozen.

Good cooler for a day on the lake. Straps to the seat of my Crescent Ultralight well. I did get it on sale, not sure if I would have paid $90 for it, but at $50 I feel that it was worth it. I like that you can add on the rod holders or mesh bag if needed. I also bought the tank well crate bag which is also nice.

Holds several bottles of water plus lunch and also doubles as my trash bin! Easy to remove and clean out. Easy to install for the next trip. Don’t let the bungees fool you, they are very strong and sturdy. Doesn’t droop or sag when you add ice. I was very impressed.

Love this cooler. Fits snugly to back of my pelican catch 100 seat. Keeps stuff cold all day and packs a ton is stuff. A little worried about durability of the zipper...we shall see

I have a Pelican Catch 100 with a lawn chair seat. It attaches easily and fits perfectly between the seat and the cargo area. The zipper is not crazy tight like a Yeti so you won't flip the kayak trying to unzip it. I pulled it out of the box, stuck it in my big freezer for about 30 minutes to cool it off, put 5 cans and about a dozen ice cubes in it, paddled around for 3 hours in the heat, got in and out of it a few times, but forgot to empty it when I got home. The next morning it still had ice cubes in it. I'm not a soft-side cooler kinda guy but I like this thing. It will hold 12 with ice. So back in April 2019 I bought this cooler on faith because NOBODY had reviewed it....like anywhere. It's now April 2020 and because of this virus about the only thing I can do is kayak so let me just say that I still love this thing! It hangs there turning dead space into usable space. I use it more for dry storage than a cooler to be honest. Yes, it’s a little overpriced and no, I don't know what all those loops are for but.....I still really like this thing. November, 2025 - Still love it. It’s like a backpack you don’t have to wear. Just make sure it will fit between your rod holders.

Perfect addition to my husband’s kayak and he loves it! He kept it in house to test, drinks stayed cold, for 3 days! He put 6 Powerades and 6 water bottles in it, with a big yeti ice pack. Manufacturing for this cooler is perfect. A little pricey to me lol but he is happy. Happy hubby happy wifey!

Works great gives me so much more accessible storage and durable, however wouldn’t recommend the rod holders for it they’re fairly flimsy and wouldn’t trust with my rods I use it for my net

We have this to my husband for Father’s Day. He hasn’t used it yet but loved the idea of it. He is excited to try it out. It’s a great size for the kayak seat. It’s nice to have it out of the way. It seems very sturdy.

Exactly what I was looking for! This cooler is the perfect size, big enough to hold plenty of drinks and snacks but still easy to carry around without feeling bulky. I’ve used it a few times already for picnics and a beach day and it kept everything cold for hours, even in the sun. The build feels sturdy, the handles are comfortable, and cleaning it out afterward is super easy. Honestly, it’s become my go-to for any outing. I’d definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable cooler.
