I bought the plain black one. Marvellous. Worked a treat. Sturdy, secure, folds easily. Spot on. The only thing I didn’t like or find helpful was the band to keep the stick folded. Far too impractical. An old fashioned elastic garter is far easier - and as I’m old fashioned, I had some to choose from! Great value for money.

I bought this because a friend has one and it seemed a really good stick, which it is. So quick to put together/take apart, and usually pretty easy to do even when having problems with grip, connective tissue, and pain. Also the most pleasing user experience I've ever had. I've previously avoided metal canes as the clanking and rattling most of them make drives me up the wall, but wooden ones are heavy and laborious to dis/assemble if they come apart at all. This one is silent, instant, and light without feeling flimsy, I love it. The only thing I dislike is the hard plastic loop it comes with to keep it together while folded is fiddly & hard to use, so much so I discarded it immediately, and the bag it comes with is very cheap and naff. But at this price point these are non issues for me, I'm very happy with it overall. Big improvement in quality of life.

excellent stick, with a few niggles. Can be hard to collapse after prolonged use. Surface of stick easily marks when collapsing. But these are all minor niggles. The only real negative is once collapsed you have to provide your own band to hold it together. Now the pros. Very easy to assemble and so cool as it makes you look like a magician pulling out the collapsed stick and it automatically snaps into place. The stick is adjustable in height, short people may find it a little tall. All in all a very good stick that I would buy again if I need too.

Very good value for money. Sturdy and adjustable. My dad wanted something that did not look too clunky or hospital-look and the black colour is nice.

I'm 6'2" and have this on the longest setting which is perfect for my needs. It's very sturdy and has helped a lot with trips out where I need the extra support and fits easily in my laptop satchel which is meant for a 15" laptop. It's pretty light so I don't notice the extra weight in my bag and unfolds quickly with the cords inside it pulling the sections together so a quick tap on the ground and I'm off. The only small downside is it's a bit of an effort to fold back up after a bit of walking as the sections get a bit stuck together but this isn't something you can really help so I won't mark the overall score down for it.

This seems well designed and study with a well gripping base. Easily adjustable and quick to pack and unpack. It is more comfortable to use than I was expecting with the rubber base and well designed rubber grip. I would advise being cautious over buying this if you were expecting it to carry greater than normal support loadings, the joints are well strong enough for my needs, but the fact that it disassembles may mean it is weaker than a continous stick support - I think it would be advisable to find out about this first, if so.

I wanted to have a stick which I could keep in my bag/car if I needed it and decided to try this one. This is not tiny but will fit into a reasonable-sized bag without a problem and isn’t too heavy. It certainly feels sturdy and can be adjusted to height. I am 5’8” and I’m not sure it would be suitable for people much shorter than me though. After use I do find it can be a bit challenging to fold it again as the sections are compacted together, but this does mean it is sturdy when together. Overall I think this is a good product for the price and has been a useful addition to help manage my ankle pain.

This was inexpensive and fairly sturdy. I notice a plastic ridge on the handle after using it for a month, which is kind of annoying, but I got what I paid for.
