Works just as it should. On at dusk off at sunrise. Nice glow.

I’ve had “bug” or yellow colored lights for my front porch before but they were dim and almost too dark. I really like these bulbs. The color is bright enough to see everything on my porch but is still a mellow brightness that it doesn’t feel like I have a spotlight on so I can leave it on all night. So far the auto on and off feature has been working great. I’ll definitely stick with this brand.

I initially ordered the wrong product from this company. I wanted bulbs that stayed on dusk to dawn. When I say the phrase dusk to dawn I just ordered a 6 pack of the bulbs. Turns out I did not read the description fully and they were turn on dusk to dawn, motion activated. They did work as advertised. I return these which they gave me full credit for and ordered the correct bulbs. I like the fact they offered soft white lights which are hard to find in a dusk to dawn configuration. Upon receiving they do not use a photo cell to turn on the bulbs at night but seems like an infrared system. Screwed the bulbs in and covered the infrared cell with my finger and the light did not come on. I thought well it's not dark so I will wait until then. I installed 4 of them that day. All of them came on when dark and turned off when dawn arrived. I have only had these for a week but I do like the operation and the lighting they produce. I do like the fact they use infrared instead of a photocell. That was one thing about the photocell bulbs I had purchased in the past. They only seem to last for about a year before they just either don't turn on or just stay on all the time.

I purchased some cute little lantern style porch lights from Lowe's about a year ago for two of my porches. Lowe's seems to have stopped carrying the Dusk to Dawn lights in the nice styles that I would like. I think they had them at the time in that old cowbell style and a few other drab styles. I purchased that old cowbell style for the back deck but I didn't want that on the front and side of my house which are my main entrances. So I purchased motion sensor porch lights that you can manually turn into Dusk to Dawn Lights by flipping the switch down for a couple of seconds after dark and flipping it back up. Totally manual. I've been doing that for months now and it's gotten old _ especially in the summer months when it doesn't really get dark until 9. It's not such a big deal in the winter time when it's already dark at 5:30 or 6. As soon as you get in the house, you can remember to flip the switches. But if it's light out when you get home, either you won't remember or if you're really tired, you may already be dozing off and half asleep and reluctant to get up and go and flip the switches. So, at first I tried purchasing some of those Dusk to Dawn converters that you screw down inside of the lanterns but they were so high profile that once I screwed the bulb back in, the top of the lantern wouldn't fit on anymore. So I had to take those back. Then I heard about these lights. I purchased them with very high hopes. And guess what. They don't override the motion sensor feature. They will not come on at dusk by themselves. You still have to flip the switch. So I'm knocking off a star. I don't want to ding the lights themselves because they work great. I gave a couple of them to my dad who has regular porch lights and his are coming on at dusk and turning off at dawn just the way they should. I just wish that the manufacturer would have mentioned in the description that they will not work with motion sensor/manual dusk to dawn lights. I would have reached out to the manufacturer before purchasing these if I had known to ask. I just didn't think that this would be a problem. I thought that once that sensor was in place that it would just trigger the lights to come on at dusk. I didn't know it would not override that motion sensor feature built into the light. I had no idea. Better luck next time! I didn't feel like the hassle of a return so I guess my dad is getting an extra Father's Day gift!

The Sunco LED light bulbs came well packaged. The dusk to dawn on/off works perfect. Being only 2000 lumens they give off a warm yellow glow but not bright yellow like a dedicated bug lightbulb. Satisfied with my purchase & highly recommend!

I am absolutely thrilled with the performance of these bulbs - so far as I can tell after about one year of ownership and use, their performance is entirely as advertised. Previous bulbs I purchase on Amazon have been not only uninspired in design, but also radically under-performed, especially in the life of the bulbs. In contrast, these bulbs seem to be on track to closely match the claimed 22 years of life at 3 hours per day of illumination. Now that's really remarkable, and what a great buy! In the language of 1950s advertising, the purchase price of the bulbs comes out to about a penny per month for the light of each bulb, burning from dawn to dusk every single day. What a steal! The "dawn to dusk" feature is what drew me to these bulbs. Here they also work entirely as advertised - no fancy timers or internet-capable light switches required - just screw it in. Of course after owning for only about a year, I could only test the rated 25,000 hours lifetime of these bulbs by extrapolation. I did this in two ways, one semi-quantitative and one qualitative. First, I used a luminometer app on my iphone to check the brightness of the bulbs that had been used for 11 months against that of newly installed bulbs; within the accuracy of the app (and the very limited expertise of the user!) the readings were identical. Second, I simply took a photo of my front porch with the old bulbs in place (left photo) and the new bulbs in place (right photo). To my eye, no noticeable difference. Of course there is no way to accurately extrapolate either of these observations from 11 months to seven years, but I think one can confidently say that there is every indication that these bulbs will last at least 2-3 years, and possibly much longer, in dusk to dawn mode. Heck, after watching other bulbs visibly decay in intensity after only a month or two, that's plenty good enough for me!

Color as advertised, my camera does not capture the true color. However, attracts significantly less bugs. Would recommend. Photocell works great too.

J'ai essayé des ampoules connectées au wifi, mais elles étaient trop loin de mon router et je perdais la connexion trop souvent. Je voulais des ampoules qui s'allument au crépuscule et qui s'éteignent à l'aube. Ça fonctionne comme prévu sans complication. J'ai simplement remplacé les ampoules ordinaires avec les ampoules Sunco et ça répond parfaitement à mon besoin.

Excelente articulo... La calidad es muy buena. El sensor de luz funciona a la perfección. Es muy fácil de utilizar e instalar ya que es igual a un foco convencional, La calidad de la luz es de muy buena calidad e intensidad.

Todo está bien, se apaga automáticamente en la mañana.
