what kind of oil do you use when storing the product?

Actually, you can use any table oil: olive oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil – any of them will be good. I personally use olive oil. I put the “sauerkraut pounder” on a plate and add some oil on the top. Then use a cotton pad to grease it into the surface. Wait until the oil gets “soaked in” and then grease it a few more times. Also, you can find many kinds of wood oils on Amazon.
