Bringing back fond culinary memories.
I last had Calissons when I was in Europe back in the early 2000s and when I was describing them to my kids I wanted to find a product that I could buy to let them experience them as well. I'd never bought Calissons from a producer but when I saw the reviews for this product I thought I'd give it a shot. And I'm glad I did. They tasted almost as I remember them tasting (of course nostalgia and romanticizing the past play into that) but it was a close enough taste that it triggered very fond memories. My kids loved them as well. It was something new and I'm glad that they enjoyed them.

A small taste of a French specialty
We saw these candies on TV and were curious to try them. They are good, not overly sweet. You can taste the subtle melon flavor.

Stale and hard
Absolutely terrible. They were stale, hard and tasteless. Ate two and threw the rest in the trash.

Dainty little confection
I saw these candies on a travel show & thought they would be interesting to try. I shared them with a few friends at a club meeting. We all thought they were dainty & appealed mostly to women but we all thought they were lacking in flavor. Cost was acceptable.

What fun to be able to find it and order it ...
I saw this product on a TV program. I was curious about it being made in only one town in France, I looked it up on Amazon and was surprised to find the candy. What fun to be able to find it and order it so fast. I was pleased how fresh the candy was.

The most delicious Christmas confection ever
I have never been to Aix-en-Provence but I love these calissons which I discovered on a visit to other parts of France. So delicious, like nothing you have ever tried before and worth every penny.
