Combining this with a pancake propane tank makes this easily portable with many hours of warm. Taking this to a friends house allowed us to sit on the patio for several hours late into the evening chatting when we would have otherwise had to go indoors.Also, this fire pit is on my 'must have' camping list. Putting this inside a popup with two sides this creates a very cozy space. In the West where wood fueled campfires are Increasingly prohibited and the bans getting longer it makes propane fire pits like this practically essential.The provided fake logs work fine, no complaints. But it also works great if you replace that with 1/4" fire glass which creates a nice effect and I think it increases the infra red capacity of the fire pit. With the lid attaching securely the fire glass doesn't have to be removed when stored.Con (maybe)It does not have a built in igniter so it requires an external lighter. It's easy to have a lot of gas flowing when this is lit and care must be taken to not get too close or stand overhead when starting. I recommend using a long lighter. I have tied one with string to the bottom so it stays with the stove. I said con maybe because built in igniters tend to fail over time, but if it was replaceable it would mitigate that issue.

So, this a replacement for our last fire place in a can. The previous one was over 15 years old. We enjoyed it very much. It went everywhere we boated and we used it on our porch. This one has some improvements; the sticks are one piece so you don't have to touch them to reposition them, it's base is taller. Love it

The media could not be loaded. Works great, great value, performed as designed.No smoke, instant on/off, no risk of fire. Great for use during a burn ban. Recently used in South Texas during a cold snap.

Small but puts out a great flame. Great to have camping when burn bans are in effect. Light and easy to haul with us on road trips and tailgating.

Having allot of burn bans this comes in handy. It’s not crazy heavy. It’s easy to use and I can run for along time off a little 2lbs tank with no problem. Has perfect and controllable heat output. Construction is top quality. And all around versatile

This mini firepit is perfect!! So easy and no mess!! We just bought a camper and wanted to always have a fire when it was cool at night and in the morning. I like a "real" fire, but it's messy and it seems like we always have to move around to keep the smoke out of our face. This is so great!! If your outdoors when it's cooler, you need one of these! We bought the smaller one because it's just two of us and the dog. But the larger one would have worked good too (it's not that much larger). It's super easy to start, you can regulate how much flame you want and just pack it up when your done. No messy fire to put out! We noticed several other campers had one too. We love it! Great purchase for us!!

We love this campfire. We read all the reviews and found that the 19" was perfect for us. And it is. Fits great in our camper storage, packs up small, and easily hooks to gas and ignites quickly. The only issues we have, as do other reviewers, is the flimsy clasps that hold the red cover to the base of unit. They are super flimsy and could have been made much stronger. We have been careful with them so far, but I'm sure over time we'll break or lose one. Other than that, we are happy with our purchase!
