The product has a great price point compared to other similar mineral sunscreens and is also free from most harmful toxins. Did feel a little more difficult to apply (as most mineral sunscreens do) but worked pretty well and came in a nice travel friendly size.

From my daughter -I loved that this product is EWG certified. I have used it twice so far now, and personally did not need to reapply after 3 hours and being in/out of water.It is very thick and will leave a white cast if it’s not rubbed in completely, I use a spray bottle to moisten my skin first before rubbing in the lotion. The first time I used I was very thorough in my application, to the point it felt like a workout (being pregnant lol), but didn’t rub it in as much the second time and the white case was pretty noticeable.You definitely want to rub it in completely when first applied.

I so wanted to like this product. It has lots of zinc, and very few dangerous ingredients. I wanted it for my face and the back of my hands for daily use cycling, against ageing and the brutal sun in the American South West. However, it's so sticky! It's properly "tacky" when applied, and doesn't work into the skin. Feels claggy and heavy on your skin. I thought maybe I'd just try to use it for my hands instead of my face, but stuff sticks to my hands when I have it on! It also doesn't sit evenly on the skin, looks a bit marbled as if blobs of zinc aren't quite mixed in enough. Really sucks, I have no way to use this up, and it's a big container. Huge disappointment.

Great sunscreen! It feels good to put something non toxic on my face. The only downside is you need to really rub it in otherwise you look a little ghostly, lol

I purchased this over a year ago and hope they have changed the quality and composition of the cream: I can only give this three stars for several reasons: Pros: Has no toxic chemicals, hypo-allergenic, fragrance free, (go to the EWG website, which is where I went to find this product.) Cons: the consistency is terrible. I usually apply my face lotions and then sunblock and then makeup. I allow each time to absorb. But, this sunscreen does not blend so you have white patches all over your face. Then, it becomes so sticky and "tacky" that you can't apply any foundation on! It is miserable. It feels AWFUL on your skin and makes your hairline oily too. I tried using this on my arms and legs and same problem. It does not blend. I will not order again.

This is really nice mineral sunscreen (clean ingredients, unscented) but there's jsut no such thing as mineral sunscreen from a bottle that doesn't give a whitecast. Unless you're applying in pea size increments all over your body (who has time for that) it never fully spreads out from the spot you apply it to. I did however also purchase the Altitude stick which I'm loving! The nature of the stick allows you to easily spread a thin layer all over, that actually can be rubbed in for minimal white cast.

This works great along with the face stick. It seems to last a long time and it's the only sunscreen I've found that doesn't give me a headache. It does leave a white residue especially on my hairy arms, but I will take they any day over a sunburn or headache from other products.

This item is EWG verified, works decently well, and smells great...BUT using it is HORRENDOUS. It comes out thick and creamy, absolutely refuses to be rubbed in to your skin to any degree, coats your fingers mercilessly, runs into your beard, goops up your t-shirt sleeves, and generally turns any sunny outing into a clown show. Fortunately, I was able to find a different EWG-verified sunscreen that cooperates much better.
