After spending years bouncing around on an air bed mattress this product in incomparable. The extra depth to 5cm means you never hit the ground and the deeper foam evens out all of the irregular surface of the ground below. It is as close as you get to a proper mattress. It also doesn't cause the condensation you get associated with an air bed as the surface area of your body is in contact with is much reduced compared with sinking into a 6" air bed.Roll out, if you can leave it for a while to fully inflate then great, then put a few breaths of air in when you get back before you tighten valve up.Job done. Strongly recommend.

After years of camping with the ‘usual’ double air beds, (that never stay up) I thought I’d look into an alternative for when we go away with the kids.These mats are great!Not too bulky, light weight and easy to inflate! A few extra puffs and you get a decent elevation off the cold floor. Approx 4-5cm as opposed to a 1cm roll mat or a morning wake up to a half deflated air bed.Tried and tested last weekend.Great investment & well worth the money!

Worked like a dream. The line through the middle makes it very convenient to fold up. I gave it some extra air by blowing in. Very bouncy and comfortable: I would take this over an airbed any day. Just note that it's a little slippery, so your sleeping bag does slide over it if there is a bit of a slope where you have perched your tent. Used it at Wilderness Festival. It comes in a nice bag with some extra room for other items if you need some packing help.

I bought this based on size as it fits nicely into the overcab bed of my Autotrail motorhome which has the usual small double configuration for one and a half adults or two kids. It adds an extra layer of comfort, a little firmer than memory foam and with the benefit of inflation/deflation the firmness can be adjusted. The central fold doesn't cause any noticable discomfort, but if the mattress is not covered with a sheet it can be noisy when you shift about in eg a sleeping bag as its a waterproof material. All in all it provided and extra layer of comfort without taking me much closer to the roof :)

Bought for sleepovers. This mat inflates to a good firm texture. Following the instructions and inflating / deflating a few times before first use made a noticeable difference to the comfort. However it is a very narrow double and it would just about sleep 2 kids. A nice feature would be if it could be folded in half to make a double thickness single mistress but this is not possible as the join is not wide enough to allow for this.

Was looking for a reasonably priced double camping mat and after a lot of searching I decided on this one...and I'm glad I did. Very well made and is really comfy when fully inflated. As with all mats of this (5cm) it needs a bit of manual inflating though is easy to do. If you're reading this I can recommend making a purchase.

So I bought this for Download and it was great for us both for five daysNot suitable if you’re over 20 st as it’s a small double and I don’t think a whole night would work at that weightMake sure you understand how the valves work when you set it up.

Used as a temporary doss while the bedrooms were being decorated. Better than I expected, and much better than the bouncy castle type the wife got. Interesting how the foam pushes it's envelope out into shape itself.Neither were anywhere near full double in size. Good enough for a short episode but not for long. Had to get our 6ft + lad to wrestle it back in it's bag.One with foam twice as thick, ( and probably 3 times the price!) would have been more agreeable.
