Works ok but might need a good technique to be better
It seems to throw out good sparks but doesn't light the material very easily. However this may be my fault due to the choice of fuel. I've tried cotton wool and dried grass but it needs quite a few strikes to nail it.

Really great for kids in forest school
Bought for forest school use so children needed to handle them. They were smashing. Cleaned off the coating and worked well.

Broke after a couple uses
The flint came out of the wood after a couple uses and the steel is awkward to grip to get a good spark. Glad I tested before I went camping with the intentions to use this.

Really nice spray
It creates a good spray of sparks and the wooden handle looks and feels great. Comes in a lovely velvety feel bag as well. Bought as a gift for my son
