Does this have some flexibility or is it very rigid? I want to use it as cushioning for exercises where I rest a dumbbell on my leg or hips.

The pad is very flexible and can easily be bent into a circle. My pad has the Velcro patches, but according to the new description, those have been replaced with a mesh bag. I bought several of the pads and just stack them on top of each other if I want added thickness. These pads are the best and most versatile ones that I have seen. They are not those rigid ones that some companies sell; I don't like those either. It should be great for resting dumbbells on your legs; they don't lose their cushioning when being bent.

Can I use this for Nordic curls?

First, I had to Google a "Nordic curl." The YouTube videos all appear to show much thicker knee padding than this pad. I use it for planks (elbows) and crunches (tail bone). I can tell you that after several years, it still "bounces back" to original form. You might want to consider using two of them, based on the videos.

Is this non-slip on hardwood floors?

I use mine on low pile carpet, on hard floors it might slip, but if you put your weight on it it shouldn't. It's a great mat especially if you use it for your knees! Hope this helps!

Perfect for knee problems

I had knee surgery several years ago and several other knee injuries. I love to work out but kneeling is hard on my knees. I opted for the thicker pad and I'm glad I did! This is great for those exercising with bad knees and comfortable even without knee issues. The thicker padding is the perfect cushion. Also works well for planks as it saves my elbow as well.

Comfortable Knee Support Pad

The media could not be loaded. We use this in our home gym, mainly for the ab roller that puts a lot of pressure on your knee caps. We were previously using a rolled up towel, and this is sooooo much better. I could see multiple use cases for this, but it certainly works great for our needs. Highly recommended.
