What is the expiry date on the prduct also how long does it keep once opened

The expiry date on our current stock is 26/08/22 (as at 06 Aug 2021). Ata a later date this may differ. The product will last at least until expiry once opened as long as the product is kept in a cool dry place with the lid securely fastened. How do you use this? Do you brush on to pastries before baking or afterwards? Completely new to this.

Heat up the product , diluted with a little bit of water, stir to dissolve ( instructions are on the package). Cool down slightly, brush whilst still hot on your baked pastries. Super simple, great results!

Is it good to use on sliced fruit or does it absorb the water?

Yeah it works on fruits and doesn't absorb any water at all

Not convinced by the flavour

I was excited to try this as an alternative glaze to sieved apricot jam. Unfortunately I thought the flavour was very artificial. It did look nice, but wasn’t completely effortless since it still needed weighing, mixing, heating, mixing again and cooling to agreed temperature - so I’ll be going back to using sieved jam!
