Wrong: Stories (Cooper, Dennis)

Dennis Cooper is an incredible writer who dares to go places very few other authors refuse to touch. His books are shocking, grotesque but also masterfully structured, beautifully written and seem even more vital than ever in 2020. If you can stomach the extreme depictions of sexual violence you’ll find an incredible and indelible voice you’ll never forget.

Kicks ass. Dennis Cooper has written some genuinely disturbing stories…some more than others, at once raunchy as excrement stained sheets and poetic as migrating ortolans enjoying the thrill of flight in that moment just before they're caught and eaten.

Whether your straight gay bi or just don't know... it doesn't matter... this guy can write. Few can, Very few. I never will get to this stage of perfection. Its almost too perfect for moi, but that's ok... whatever (title of another book by a nice writer)... when writing is really really i dunno gets to the point and drives the knife in... its so beyond any other form... of... dare I write?--- Art.

Another reviewer found the stories "disgusting" but in an interesting way. I found them to be disgusting. This book is depressing.
