Works great and I love being able to set it to turn on at dusk for 4 hours and then it goes off on its own. Also love the remote! I bought another brand a couple of years ago that works the exact same way at Ace Hardware, and it was about twice the price of this item!

This timer is exactly what I needed to replace a malfunctioning Dusk to Dawn timer that I have had for many years. I have a small black timer that I use every Christmas to control my front Christmas lights. This past year (2023) my wife asked me to leave the flood lights shining on the side of the new home we moved to in 2022. I didn't mind since I have LED bulbs in my FLoods so no huge drain on power and I have the timer set to 2 hours after Dusk. Anyway I went outside the other evening before Dusk and noticed my trusty old timer was buzzing. I unplugged it and assumed it was dead so I set to searching for a replacement. This one is much nicer that the one I had which was hanging by the cord from the outdoor outlet. I love that it has a stake and weather covers on each outlet and provides more than one outlet. This will come in handy come Christmas 2024, all I will need to do is change from 2 to 4 hours for that month, then change it back to 2.The 6 foot cord allows me to plug it in and place it behind a bush unseen but where the sensor can sense the ambient light outside for proper function. I have owned BN-Link timers of other types so when this came up in search I preferred this over other brands. The construction is nice with a screw in spike rather than a snap in and it comes with an extensions to let you decide between ground level or elevated. If you have flooding issues, I suggest the elevated extension to be installed. Setup is simple, no messing about with setting a time or dealing with DST...the sensor detects light and cuts on as Dusk and goes off at Dawn. There is a Mode for On, or On at Dusk plus the indicated time, simply press the button until you have the setting you want and when it stoips flashing it is set to that setting. AND it retains the setting when unplugged so no worries if you have power outages. I LOVE that the sensor on top has a spring loaded Cover. You can lightly press down and it feels as though there may be a slight ridge for the cap to catch as well. Overall this is a wonderful product and does exactly what I wanted.

Been hooked up for 5 days. Set for turn-on at dusk plus 8 hours. Works great. My only complaint is that the remote battery was dead. Boughe a new one, put it in the remote, and discovered that I had to re-pair the remote to the control unit. That process was easy and worked without a hitch. Now the remote works just fine. I took off one star because of this minor hassle. Because of the way it was packaged (remote and battery loose inside the box), I'm not sure if I recieved a returned unit or a brand new one. But no matter, it works.

Amazing product that made setting up my Christmas lights so much easier

I didn’t get a chance to really use this last year when I ordered it I didn’t have the battery for the little remote Definitely would suggest you get the battery for the remote. It is so awesome. You can turn the lights on from inside your home and off from inside your home when you’re heading to bed it works so good. I love it.

This outdoor extension power cord terminal was a great investment for my holiday decorations. Easy to use and is waterproof. I was able to have 6 more outlets on this power strip that I could place any where in my yard with the connection to a single extension cord. The outlet capacity was great and has a trip button on top if one of the outlets trip. Its Durable in that it's been through the rain and snow and kept the power going to everything i had plugged into it. Definitely recommend this product!

Timer doesn’t turn on when I program it. Not perfect

Works very well, easy too set up and control. Allows for up to eight hour of operation, great for outdoor lighting year round.

My husband was very impressed with this outdoor power strip. He was very glad I purchased it and we are able to connect all our outdoor Christmas lights. The timer works perfectly, too. I got bonus points for getting this for him! Thank you, very well made.

I would definitely not recommend this item. The timer part of it stopped working after only 9 days of use. Was working fine, then it suddenly quit working. No longer turns on when set to the 2-hour, 4-hour, 6-hour or 8 hour setting. Can only use it as a regular electrical cord. At the price I paid, I was expecting something better. So, sending it back.

Nice unit and convenient for christmas decorations but box came opened and was missing the garden stake. Very disappointing.
