Great for beginners!!
This book is amazing!! I've now bought the other 2 BOSH! cookbooks! I have been vegetarian for a year now and was still eating rice and pasta based dishes that were frankly awful. I really wanted to get excited about food again as I did when i was a meat eater. I could cook up a storm with any old dusty ingredients but with vegetarian dishes i was totally lost and really lusted for that passion again. I found this randomly and thought I'd give it a go. Boy was I glad I'd bought it. I have literally transformed my pantry and store cupboards and now my life is exciting again! I am excited to try new foods and it's not as expensive or as difficult as you may think. You're asked to buy ingredients you probably think you'll only use once but they're used throughout the book so you avoid wasting money on one of ingredients. I prefer to buy a bulk of new things every time I shop to build up my pantry and 8 weeks later it's complete!! I would recommend this to any seasoned veggie right over to the novice! The recipes are simple and really well explained. Better than any cookbook I've ever used! You are prepped well and guided through the method with simple easy to follow instructions. No 1920s jargon or complicated processes just simple delicious vegan recipes!! Give it a go! What have you got to lose?

I brought this book for an option to cook something different and it ticks all the boxes lovely recipes and you can also add meat if you like

Ordered and arrived in good time
I have read through the recipes, and all appear to be extremely well considered and look very tasty. Having only just purchased this book, the ingredients, directions and information, seem to bit just what my wife and I were looking for. They are very interesting, different, challenging, and above all completely Vegan. Looking forward to making some new very tasty meals based upon this purchase! It has provided some new ideas, different approaches and above all takes out for me and my wife, the animal aspect, their needless suffering and butchering. Everyone has their own ideals however, but for other vegans this looks very promising! David 👍🏻👍🏻

Amazing, delicious recipes for everyone
LOVE THIS BOOK! I'm pretty sure I'm not the only vegan who has numerous recipe books taking up space in a cupboard or shelf, where you quickly find out that the recipes within all require 50 ingredients, some from exotic far away lands, some you have never even heard of & some you need to google to find out what the American-to-UK translation is...I'm taking about you "cilantro" *eye rolls*...also you might make a recipe or two IF that & then they either collect dust because you MIGHT use them again for that 5 hour prep recipe that looks really good but you just don't have the time for right now...but this little gem of a book is the holy grail of vegan cookbooks, I think I have made, & thoroughly enjoyed, 85% of the recipes within. All super easy to make, no wacky ingredients, delicious & perfect for blowing the minds of even your non-vegan friends & family. It's worth buying for the cauliflower buffalo wings alone!!! Trust me *drools*...so get your apron on & get cookin' my friends, enjoy.

Praiseworthy book
This book has a great layout, with the ingredients, instructions and descriptions all very distinct and easy to distinguish. Virtually every recipe, apart from the most simple ones, has a photograph, occasionally even stretching to two pages. In some books it can seem that there are too many photographs just to fill space, but this one seems to have the balance just about right. I have bought a number of vegetarian/vegan and healthy eating cookbooks over the years and I appreciate that it must be difficult to come up with 140 interesting and unusual recipes. Therefore you can get some ultra simple 'filler' recipes which are available everywhere. This book has some of these, but not too many and there are enough creative recipes to certainly make the book worthwhile. I certainly hadn't ever seen or considered making a mezze cake for example. This recipe is available online as a video, like some of the others apparently, which is a nice touch but might put people off buying the book. From my personal point of view, I'm not sure why there is a small chapter on cocktails and as someone who does not like mushrooms at all, a lot of recipes do feature them. That's just my personal preference, particularly as non-cocktail drinker and mushroom avoider, but I'm sure some people will appreciate those things more than me. This book is certainly more impressive than a lot of other similar ones I've come across in the past, so I would suggest that most people could learn some interesting new recipes by buying it. Great recipes, lots of variety, easy to follow Also pleased that calorie count is shown on each one.

Different
Ordered this cookbook as it looked great with interesting recipes. The good points : list of must have ingredients and special ingredients, kitchen equipment needed, lovely descriptions and pictures of the food. The not so good points ( in my opinion). Loads of the recipes focus on mushrooms, I love them but a bit more variety would be good. This is obviously a vegan book and some of the ingredients seem quite specialist and probably need to be purchased from health food stores or high end supermarkets. I am veggie not vegan so the plant based milk etc I can substitute. Some of the recipes I find complicated with a long list of ingredients (and I’m used to cooking from scratch). As another reviewer mentioned I don’t get the cocktail section? I know they are very popular at the moment but it’s a recipe book not a mixologist manual. All in all some good and interesting meals, the tapas section in my opinion is the best part of the book. But I feel it’s not as good as I had hoped but for 8.00 it was a bargain and is a good read. For a die hard vegan I think this would be great.
