V. comfortable but tendency to slip down
The memory foam padding is excellent and the pads are sturdy; however they slip down and then soil and stones enter through the hole at the top and work their way underneath - leading to dirty knees! More work needed on the design! What is the purpose of the holes anyway??

Comfortable
These are very comfy and do protect your knees I use them for gardening and housework would recommend can’t comment on durability due to having only used them for a little while but so far so good

Saves my knees
Have always used a kneeling pad but was recommended these knee pads. It was a revelation! Easy to put on then I could move along the flower bed without having to stand up and down. They are thick enough to protect against stones but not too thick that I couldn't walk.

comfortable
comfortable to wear, they are just inclined to slip down however tight you do them - probably would be better if I was wearing shorts rather than trousers

Comfortable front and back
I had a cheaper set of knee pads that were so uncomfortable I gave up wearing them. So glad I found this. Very cushioned and the straps are soft so they don’t sit into the back of your legs. Recommended. They are neoprene so if they get wet they will take a while to dry but that’s a small price to pay for the increased comfort

comfortable, but constantly slips down
These knee pads, I thought, would be the saviour of my knees. Unfortunately, they slip down my legs constantly and annoyingly. Doesn't matter how tight the Velcro straps are fastened. Also one pad has already worn through after just 3 months of use.

Comfy on the knee. Scratchy back of leg
Comfy to wear. Softer than they look. Velcrose rubs back of leg hence dropped star

Garden knee pads
I currently have two others sets of knee pads, but neither are entirely satisfactory. One set has only one pair of straps and as such tends to either move down from my knees, or twists around. Because of these problems I bought another set with two pairs of straps. These pads are better to locate but the straps move into the bend at the back of my knees and are uncomfortable in use. Also the solid part in contact with the soil did not have a pronounced lip and as such scooped up the soil as I shuffled along. Having seen the Burgon & Ball pads advertised elsewhere and deciding that the design seemed to be much better in that they seemed more encompassing, I decided to give them a try. I found them on Amazon at a better price so bought them. They are certainly more comfortable but still tend to move around. [I would say at this point I do not have the thighs of rugby players and as such can not tighten the straps as much as I would like. The same applied to the two previous sets.] It will be interesting to see how they stand up to hard use in the garden and on my allotment. Whilst well padded the part that actually comes into contact with the soil is 'fabric' and not solid neoprene or such like. Time will tell.
