Great 4 a portable server
I have my server built into this box. With a silverStone RM44 as my main unit. If I had some low profile 90° plugs for everything I could leave it all connected. But as it sits I do have to unplug the displayport and the usb-A.It's actually about 1u smaller than advertised, but it's still big enough for the 4u pc, 2u ssd drive bay, switch, power strip and KVM unit. Thermals look good for the 4080 and the 13900k when both the front and back lids are off.It feels lighter duty than I was expecting but is holding up very well right now. And it was nice that it came with the hardware to get everything mounted.

Perfect!
I can’t express how much I love this case I’ve been looking for something portable for a training network and tried a few different options but none of them were very portable. This one met all my needs durable rollable. Easy to pick up like a suitcase and fits my four network components perfectly for when I’m gonna be doing mobile training. Fantastic product love it.

Extremely Disappointed – Received Used and Damaged Case
This was sold as new, but what I received was clearly used. The case arrived with scratches, dents, a bent side, and dirty, scuffed wheels. Completely unacceptable. Not what I paid for.

Received the wrong item
As far as the rack itself is concerned, it’s a Gator. Great quality and fair price. No issues there. However the wrong rack was shipped. I received an 8 space rack and it didn’t roll. I’ll still give three stars for it because the return process was quick and easy. I’ve purchased many items from different vendors on Amazon for a number of years and seeing as this was only the second return I’ve dealt with, I really don’t have much to complain about.

Good rack, nice wheels, but the covers are a pain
The wheels make moving my recording gear a lot easier. Everything mounted easily, and I've had no issues with the handle or moving the thing around. I'm deducting one star because of the inconvenience of removing and replacing the front and back covers. They don't just come straight off like similar SKB racks. To install a cover you have to lift the rack off the floor or table, connect the bottom edge of the cover by placing it 1/2 inch below it's final position and pulling it up into place. Then you can fasten the latches at the sides and optionally set the key lock at the top. To open it up you undo the lock and latches and then lift the entire rack off the floor or table so that you can drop the cover down 1/2 inch to disengage it from the rack. In my case (pun intended) the front of the rack is 100% full of equipment, none of which have handles or anything to grab that would make it easier to lift the front of the rack up in order to engage the front cover. The back is not full, so I'm able to reach in and lift the rack without too much trouble to engage the back cover. Getting the front cover off is a pain as the whole rack is about 40 lbs and I've got vacuum tube equipment that I don't want to bump around. Since I don't typically use the locks, I'm considering removing the mechanism at the bottom of the covers that acts somewhat like a hinge to make the locks effective. I'm happy with just the side latches holding the covers in place.

Just what I needed
I am an amateur radio operator and I do a great deal of public service and emergency services work. Some cases I need radios ON THE GO that cover HF, VHF, UHF as well as digital modes and D-Star. I had made a wooden box to support three radios but it was clumsy. So , With this unit I can support four radios, a 32 Amphour battery, a 25Amp switching power supply and a drawer that can hold a laptop. This unit was larger then I needed but with the handle and wheels, it helps to move all the gear. There are smaller Gator boxes and for many they will work better as they are going to be lighter.

Rolling Rack
I like this rack and recommend it. Using it to encase a Hartke Kilo bass amp that requires 3 U's. Also have a 1 U fan, 1 U tuner, and 1 U power conditioner. Using support panels from the back to support the fan and the power conditioner. Had no problem with the front and back rack holes lining up correctly. Everything fit well. Wheels appear to be soft plastic so the jury's out on how well they'll hold up over time. But so far, no problem. Pull handle is okay but could be more rugged. Again as with the wheels, time will demonstrate the durability of the unit and its components, but so far no problem.

Breaks so fast.
Lasted barely a year and a half of light use. I knew it was likely to break, but come on.
