I bought the 17inch skewers. They were very sturdy and I was able to load them with veggies, chicken and steak. I liked the fact that I could do quarter turns to cook the food. I did spray the skewers with PAM prior to putting the meat/veggies on them. This help them slide off very easily. It left very little residue on the skewers so it made clean up easy. I like the carry case that they come with. A great buy for the price

I bought both the skewers and the rack, since both are needed to maximize the benefits. The resulting lamb and veggie kabobs were amazing. The food stays in place instead of spinning as often happens on a round skewer. The racks keep the food off the BBQ grates so it doesn't burn or stick. The skewers can be precisely oriented to cook all sides of the food. Once cooked, the food slides off the skewer using the attached disc. Because food doesn't adhere to the grill, subsequent cleanup was a breeze. I like this system so well that I am going to order more sets to give as gifts to other BBQ aficionados.

I have used them twice for Huli Huli Chicken, a favorite of my family. Used once on the rack and the second time just laying the skewers directly on the grill. Both worked well. On the rack doesn’t give as good grill marks but works well. I didn’t use the rack the second time because I was using all ten skewers to serve more people. Either way works well. They held the chicken pieces well and were easy to turn. I had no trouble with the chicken pieces turning individually as I turned each skewer.

I have used wooden skewers for years to broil or grill food. Whenever I rotated the skewers, inevitably the food would spin around on the round skewers. Not anymore with these skewers. These flat-sided skewers keep the food in place, and they are sturdy and strong for a lot of food. I was making a double recipe of Chicken Tikki Masala and needed 9 full skewers of chicken. I used my large broiling pan and could rest both ends of the skewer across the long ends of the broiling pan. I rotated the skewers several times as they slowly broiled. It was an excellent experience. Also, the skewers clean very easily by hand or in the dishwasher. I will probably purchase the special racks for use on the grill to give support to the skewers, but I wanted to try them first to see if they would work for me. I will never go back to using wooden skewers. Sadly, I have two large packets left of them and can't figure out what to do with them. I do have an issue with the storage bag which, by the way, is an excellent bonus. The stitching at the bottom of my bag was not sown properly, and the hole allows the skewer tips to poke through. I will contact the company, and I am sure they will make it right. Otherwise, I think the bag is an excellent way to store them. It hangs so that I can conveniently store the skewers in my pantry until the next use.

I used these yesterday for our Memorial Day BBQ. My sons are master grillers, they raved about these skewers, how easy they were to use (they get hot don't forget mitts) how sturdy they were. Both of them wanted to know where I got them from. After we were done I washed them all quick and easy. These are really a great addition to outdoor cooking. I know what they are getting for Christmas!

Amazing product. Will never use wooden skewers again. Used for the past 5 years and cooked everything on them (chicken, steak, shrimp, veggies, wings). Advise that you soak them after cooking in soapy water then use a scrub daddy to clean. Still look like new!!

Got these to replace an older and different set of skewers because they rusted. These are easy to clean and haven’t rusted yet. They are long enough to fit anything that makes sense to kabob, but are a bit unwieldy to fit into a drawer. The case is nice and keeps them contained to a single location rather than in 20 different drawers.

Tons of long skewers that are very sturdy, easy to clean, and can be used in a very versatile manner. Very happy with this purchase.
