Save me from buying a new gas can.
Fit perfect on an old style gas can with a 2 inch opening. I needed a new spout but the so called universal spouts did not fit on cans with a 2 "opening. I used this well made adapter with the EZ-pour spout and it is a perfect fit.

Works okay, locks up leak free with loosey goosey thread, outrageous price for a $2 adapter.
Works for my inherited Sears/Chilton P60. Threads are a bit sloppy but it does lock up and seal and accepts my other spouts. A bit spendy for not much plastic. He was always interested in a good sale at the local Sears. I bet at the time the entire P60 wasn't more than the nine bucks this A1 adapter cost me. The spout was nowhere to be found and there was a car gas cap closing off the neck opening. I was decanting into a more manageable 1 gallon container but now I can use the spouts I have on hand thanks to this adapter. So, worth it? yeah OK for a one time expense. EZ-Pour A1 adapter. A complete spout with the correct thread to fit the P60 for around twelve bucks would be more appreciated.

Works for Chilton Gas Can Spouts
The cap will tighten onto my 2 Chilton style gas cans without leaking although a 1/8-3/16 shorter cap would work a little better. But, an issue you might have is the mount for the typical gas can spout cap is about 3/16 in (4.6 mm) too short so the cap will not tighten without leaking. (1/4 - 5/16 inch longer would work better) Luckily, I purchased spare seals for typical fittings which are about 3/16 inch thick. By adding one of these on top of its normal spout seal, it will tighten without leaking. EX-Pour Cap's female & male threads are coarse. After making the mod I now have usable containers.

Perfect solution for old style wide mouth gas jug!

EZ-*Poor design spout kit*
Fits the Chilton can but the threaded male part has coarse threads and all of the coarse thread spout nuts are TOO TALL and they won't seal. All of the short spout nuts are FINE threads and you can't screw them on to coarse threads. Don't you think the manufacturer of these EZ-Pour Chilton spout adapters would GET A CLUE?!

I have an old Chilton 5 gallon can I can now use! Fits great and not a drop of leakage. Cheaper than a new can.
