After surgery, I was losing a lot of hair. My daughter recommended this product. She said to use nothing else for a whole year and I would see a difference. To top it off it smells wonderful. I am very happy with his purchase. It is on the pricey side, but if you have any kind of hair conditions, it's important to have good products and this is a good product.

Quite expensive for such small bottles so I was hoping they would be just okay, so I wouldn't be tempted to buy them again. Nope, best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used. I can go a lot longer between washes, I only have to shampoo once (which is wild for me - especially now that I go an extra two days or so between washes), a lot less hair comes out on my comb, my ponytail feels thicker, and it smells great. I used Prose for such a long time, but that has nothing on the Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner. I'll definitely be purchasing these again. If you're looking for a sign to get these, this is your sign.

When I hit my mid forties, my hair became thinner. So, I started paying more attention to my hair care products. I began to notice that inexpensive shampoos were harsh, drying and dulling. And I read that they can leave residue that clogs hair folicles. My hair stylist backed up my observations, suggesting I buy more expensive "salon-only" products like the Kevin Murphy line, but I was skeptical and reluctant to spend so much on shampoo. When I saw the products on Amazon, I decided to bite the bullet and bought a few different kinds. The Plumping Wash and Plumping Rinse are miracle products and worth every penny. They actually do make my hair appear thicker and fuller, with shine and softness. As other reviewers have mentioned, they lather up nicely and smell good, too! You can tell as soon as you start massaging the product into your scalp that Kevin Murphy formulations are different. I highly recommend both the Plumping Wash and Plumping Rinse for thinning, "mature" hair. I don't use anything else now, and I'm so glad these products exist.

The product is very thick & difficult to squeeze out of the container. One container split open, almost the entire height of the container as I was trying to get conditioner out. So much of it oozed out, some product dropped onto the shower floor. Similar problems with the shampoo; first nothing comes out & then a large amount comes out (too much) & it’s difficult to get it back into the container.
