Perfect replacement
Lost a key for my 2005 Kawasaki KFX 700. Wanted to get a backup key cut, but I realized I could replace the ignition switch with two new keys for less than what it cost to order a generic KFX700 key and get it cut (assuming I could find somebody to cut it).The process is super easy.Remove the seat.Remove the two size 5 hex bolts that hold the plastic inPull the plastic back a bit, unscrew the top of the ignition (with your hand)Slide your hands in and unclip the old ignition clipDone. Now clip the new ignition into place, and do the above steps in reverse. The whole job takes 2 minutes. While I was doing this job, I realized my fuel filter had not been replaced in a while. So I ordered a Kawasaki OEM filter off Amazon for $20.Even though I've never lost a quad key, the one time I would is when I had only one key. So this $10 was money well spent.UPDATE: these are not great - ok as a backup. While out for a ride, the quad died. After checking everything, it was from a short in the switch. Got a replacement, which did the same thing. This just isn't OEM, not original, not good. Wouldn't buy again.

Good short term solution.
I purchased this ignition switch because mine had gone bad and I needed a quick replacement, and this was shipped quick & cheap. Iโd had good experiences with aftermarket ignitions for my Polaris, but this Kawasaki aftermarket didnโt turn out so well. It worked for a few weeks, but stopped all of a sudden. I checked the connections and added dielectric grease to improve continuity, but it didnโt help. It was working intermittently at best. I learned that when I jiggled the key I could get it to work, but didnโt want to deal with that on a routine basis. Got the OEM from Kawasaki and itโs working as it should now. If you need a quick fix yours might work out better than mine. Maybe I just got a dud. Who knows. Good luck.

Works for Kawasaki Brute Force 750
The key boot was a little low quality, and it doesnโt slide in and out as smooth as the factory key, but it works great for my Kawasaki Brute Force 750!

Works, but too short
Careful, make sure to check for slack in the wiring. The cable I received was about 1" shorter than the OEM cable which for me made installation next to impossible. It may just be my 4-wheeler but there was no slack on the original wiring and this new one wouldn't reach. I had to get a bit creative with the install and move the original key location.

Great key. Still working perfectly.
Key ignition has not given any issues at all. Just a pain to replace. But that's not the ignitions fault.
