The hour glass is precise to the second. I ordered another one from a different seller and it was supposed to be an hour but was 15 minutes. My fiance uses it for counseling and not only works out well it is very professional looking too. Well worth it!!

We timed this and is indeed one hour.
The hour glass is build well and packed very well.The design is clean and nice looking.I was a skeptic at first being its imported from China. But it is exactly and hour. We tested with three timers and its well withing acceptable range of 10-15seconds. I have seen HourGlasses three times this price not work as advertised.This one works well. I recommend this one.
