Great, except, who uses CD players these days?
Perhaps I am being unfair. I think the material itself rates 5 stars. It is great for a beginner, someone who wants to be prepared for the simple conversations one needs to have on a day to day basis in a French speaking country. The audio material is great too, but... delivery method counts!! This comes with a CD and CED players haven't been standard on laptops for what? 10 years? I knew this before I bought the book, but it just didn't register how incredibly inconvenient that is. I travel a lot, and lugging around a CD player just isn't practical. I would have returned the book if I hadn't found a workaround (with youtube - and no, there is no value to it without the book, so please let the audio stay up there!), but I'm super annoyed about the whole CD thing. Instead, there should be a link to a website that plays the audio.
