Time for Bed, the Babysitter Said (Green Light Readers Level 1)

Love this book. It teaches manners.

I was shocked when I read the review that this was a scary book. But then, I don't read it to 2 year olds. I read it with 5 year olds who have very limited visual vocabularies. As a Kindergarten teacher, I have seen plenty of very boring first readers. This book is funny, with great illustrations and gives the child an immediate feeling of success as a reader. It's one beginning reader, I am happy to hear over and over and over.

Perfect book for 4 year olds. Cute illustrations and funny story.

This is a good book for beginner readers. My 4yr old love this book so much he is literally reading from muscle memory. Great short read for bedtime when asked for that one more book plea.

5 stars ! My 14 month old grand daughter loves it just as her dad did ! She wants it read over n over !

This is my favorite Peggy Perry Anderson book.I never tire of it. Joe the frog is delightful. Our granddaughters knows it by heart(and I do too!)
