I loved the adventures and all they had to do to survive in this beautiful State in it's rough beginnins.

Great book for floridians

My 10 Year old daughter is reading for school. She loves the story line. Definitely recommend. Good story line.

Is in the printed edtion. I also suspect that original printed edition is one book. Where this script is split up into two books. I kind feel cheated. In spite of my feelings in this regard I enjoyed the book.

Awesome Book 1 of the best books I have ever read

Good book

Historical fiction about old Florida. It was recommended to me by several locals in central Southwest Florida. I recommend a trip to some of the parks like myakka and corkscrew after reading the series.

An easy read .Well written with tales of early Florida and insights into rewards of hard work, fair play, insights into working with others. A really great read for teens as well as all others.
